We were sold already when the gentle horses came up to us to let us pet them when we arrived but the whole experience was lovely for my husband, 4-year-old, 9-month-old and dog and I. "My sisters and I visited West Virginia in June. Communication was great from the owner and he even recommended hikes and places to eat. We loved the cabin and having a washer/dryer on site was an added bonus. Kitchen was basic equipped but worked for us. Loved the room darkening shades and beds were super comfy. Would recommend and definitely plan on visiting again "

"1st Off Makenzie was great to work with, always quick to respond to questions. Cabin was clean and it is on route 60. A little hard to spot while going down the road. Try to get there before it’s dark and unpack hard to see from car to cabin door. Definitely would stay again, good location. "

"Property was as described, older cottage and clean. In a very quiet neighborhood up the road from the National Park Sandstone Visitors Center. There was quite a bit of train activity, up to 6 passes in the middle of the night. We knew about it from other reviews and it didn’t really bother us. We woke up and fell back asleep. "

"We had a wonderful time. We checked in Friday and we had dinner. It was really nice having the grill. After dinner it was nice to enjoy the pool and hot tub. We went boating at Summersville, so it made it a nice location to stay. We were close to all my favorite food locations. It is a very cute, comfy getaway home. Thank you again for having us."

"As this was my first VBRO rental we had always stayed in hotels previously. I could not have had a better experience than this. The location is perfect to all the different sites to be visited in the area. Everything you could want and/or image you would need for a stay is available.
