The Redwood Chalet-downstairs is a hand-crafted, newer home with welcoming covered front porches, custom interior wood work, hardwood and tiled floors, and large windows throughout giving one the feeling of being a part of the surrounding, sun-filled redwood forest. This self-contained 2 bedroom/1 bath (1-4 pers.) includes queen-sized beds, fully equipped kitchen, views & privacy. Also includes big lawn and outside area for badminton, sunbathing, and BBQing. And a HOT TUB. This south facing home is warm, rustic contemporary and welcoming for couples, a family, larger gatherings and anybody seeking solace in a private Redwood Oasis.
(Note: the Redwood Chalet-upstairs---see vrbo #391727--- is separate self-contained rental and includes 2 bedrooms + cozy sleeping loft upstairs (for 1-6 pers.) max. Both can be rented together for group size of no more than 10. To respect the other rentals at our retreat-like, quiet location , we don't allow gatherings larger than 10 persons

Re: Our Health and Safety preparedness for your arrival: We do thorough cleaning procedures between guests and follow CDC health and safety hospitality standards. Disinfecting hand soap and cleaning supplies are in the rental. Our 47 acre redwood-forested setting provides an ideal place and way to vacation or retreat. Also, re Covid, by this time our guests understand the situation, have read our cancellation policy and assume all responsibility when they make reservation. We are not refunding for reasons re Covid at this time.
Also, if you have a little time to explore, our location is just a short drive to beautiful local beaches near Eureka and Trinidad, & natural paradises of Sumeg State Park, Big Lagoon and Redwood National Park.
