"We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay which has a private bath and was near Denali. The lady at the office was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and has everything we needed. The bed wasn't very comfy, but that is a subjective thing. The walls between units were thin, so we turned on our white noise (phone) to sleep. They weren't loud, but we could easily hear them. Breakfast at the creekside restaurant was very good. "

"The Denali Sunset House was to be our "base camp" for activities in the area. It was hard to leave the house. We wanted to just sit and enjoy nature. Becky and Terry have included so many thoughtful touches. House was spacious for our group of 8. Beds were comfortable. Communication was easy. Would happily stay again."

"The owners have a lovely property with three cabins. Lots of woods in a peaceful setting. Sitting on the front porch is relaxing with a view of the mountains. We even saw the Aurora Borealis. The cabin we rented was clean and had a full kitchen (no dishwasher) and 2 queen beds. The location is convenient to Denali without the traffic. "The lower rating 4/5 is due to the driveway area on the property which is rough but everything else was great. Partner and I stayed for 4 night. Place was exactly as it said- just right for 4 wonderful days in Denali. "We loved the proximity of the house to the park! We really enjoyed our stay. The house was super clean and comfy. We loved the views out of the window and loved playing with the dogs. "Yes, it's a rustic cabin with a pit toilet, just as described. Cute, remote little cabin in the woods. The heater kept us warm, there was plenty of hot water and water pressure, and lots of space.
