"This was the fourth consecutive year we've stayed here on our journey north. This is a classic old motel, very well kept and very well run.b process are reasonable in the area, and it's easily walkable to dining or shopping. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend."
"I didn’t even realise this was a motel until the desk clears mentioned it at checkout. I typically choose hotels with free breakfast, but due to the popular and overpriced location, I went for this accommodation. I would absolutely stay here again, and have no problem recommending it. Bakery options around the corner conpensate for no breakfast. Clean, simple rooms."
"the night before i stayed at an expedia super 8 hotel, which was a disgusting hole. the hamilton was a breath of fresh air. walking in the front door was a welcoming staff, it backed up on the same shore, the building is a little dated, but, very well maintained. the room was clean, neat, comfortable. I don't travel much, I understand most are franchises, I'll never look at another Super 8 again. Mackinac City, was a very nice experience,,,, thank you Hamilton"

"My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Its location is perfect. Right across the street from the beach that has a great view of the bridge. Super close to Shepler’s ferry. Close to downtown. Employees were nice and helpful with all our questions. Love the wood cabin vibes. The pool and hot tub were nice after a long day of exploring the city and island. We would definitely stay here again. "
"Nice place to stay for a few days. The staff is wonderful. There was a happy 20th anniversary sign in the room when we arrived. The bed was very soft, (not my preference) but was still comfy. We stayed in a handicap room, due to my disability. The room was quiet, except for our first night. It sounded like there was someone practicing parkour.
