Escape to this charming McCall condo for endless days of fun in the summer sun or the winter snow! This casual, inviting space enjoys a wonderful location near the shores of Payette Lake, as well as shared access to tennis courts. After a day spent swimming, boating, or skiing, you can build a fire and curl up on the couch with a rented DVD, challenge your loved ones to a board game tournament, or simply relax with a great book.

What's nearby:
The Aspens complex is located in a residential neighborhood near the center of McCall, with downtown less than a mile south and the McCall Golf Club less than a mile east. Go swimming, sailing, or fishing on Payette Lake less than a half-mile away, and go hiking or cross-country skiing in Ponderosa State Park three-quarters of a mile north. In the winter, you can head 11 miles north to Brundage Mountain for excellent downhill skiing as well.

The property was as expected, loved the location The only issue was that there was no ac and no pool access. They did provide fans but it is now getting too hot in McCall in the summer for them to do much more than blow the heat around

Wouldn't stay here again
After unpacking everything, and noticed that there was no water in the toilet tank. Come to find out, after calling Vacasa customer service - which was no help - they put me in touch with the local Vacasa rep and she told me that by the water heater there was a valve to turn the water on to the whole condo. That would've been helpful to see in the check-in email. I then asked her about the use of the garage. The general Vacasa customer service people were of no help on this one either. The listing said we had use of the garage but when I asked them about getting into the garage, after being on hold for 5 minutes, they said "sorry, you don't have access to the garage." Fortunately, the local rep gave me a backup lockbox code to be able to park the vehicle in the garage out of the weather. The condo is part of a community called The Aspens, and they're identically built and very closely named to the complex across the street. That development has an indoor pool to use. The listing for this condo advertised "shared pool" so I thought we had access to that same pool. No, you do not. The "shared pool" at this condo is an outdoor pool. The listing should specify this. There is a missing panel in one of the closet doors, like someone punched it out. I had to ensure Vacasa knew it wasn't me. Apparently been like that for a while. Kitchen supplies need attention. Knives are as dull as a butter knife, and wine opener is missing one of its wings. Plan on a stop or 2 at Albertsons.

Peaceful and Convenient Location
This place is quiet and peaceful, no drama and loud parties nearby. Very relaxing! It’s close to Ponderosa State Park which offers great sledding, Snowshoeing, and Cross Country skiing in the winter and biking in the summer! It’s right by downtown McCall and minutes from grocery stores and all amenities! There is access to a gym, pool, hot tub, and sauna! Love this place!

A Most Excellent Condo!
This is an amazing place to stay in McCall. It is close enough to the lake and town to walk but it is also in a very quiet and private area. The kitchen is well stocked for all of your cooking needs, and my girlfriend and I made a couple excellent dinners with zero issues. Overall, a very comfortable space to explore McCall and the surrounding areas!

Cozy Condo
This condo met our needs perfectly. It was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Our only challenge was the heat. We had to turn it way down in order to keep the temperature inside the condo comfortable. I would recommend and stay again!

Lovely condo!
This was a great condo, in a fantastic location. We appreciated the updated bathroom, the well-stocked games and kids toys, and the close proximity to the fantastic XC skiing at Ponderosa State Park. One thing to be aware of, sounds carries quite easily between this 2nd floor condo, and the unit below us. But, manageable. We would certainly stay here again!

Great space for two people. We were missing an iron and crockpot that were described in the supplies listed. Also, small ant problem. Overall, good space in close proximity to the downtown area. I would book again :)

Comfortable condo. Stove was about 40 years old and electric and needs replacing, lacked some kitchen supplies including big colander and more big pots. Nice place if you are just cooking simple meals.

Good times!
The four of us were comfortable and cozy in this lovely well equiped condo. It’s an easy walk to either Ponderosa State Park or downtown McCall. The laundry room is great for wet boots; keeps the main entry dry and clutter free. Really nice to have a garage for a snow-free car and snow gear storage!

Decorated cute, but repairs are needed
This is not the property that I meant to book. We always stay at Aspen Village and use the fitness center during our stay. This property is called the Aspens. Both are off of Davis, and they look the same from the outside. I was super bummed when I realized what I had done. The property is decorated so cute! Lots of games, movies, and books. The bed in the master bedroom was so uncomfortable that I slept with my children in the bunkbed. When I booked this trip I should have paid more attention. In the past we have booked through a different site, and they offer "buy 2 nights, get the 3rd for free." The properties they offer seem to be more up to date, and end up costing so much less for a longer stay. I was kicking myself when I realized what I had done, but I couldn't get out of it. We had paid for the late checkout, and left several hours early anyway, because we couldn't wait to get home and get some sleep.

Great weekend getaway
We (four adults) stayed here for a long weekend while visiting McCall for a wedding in August. The house is a great space, with very comfortable couches and beds and all the little amenities from home you might need. We kept getting surprised by all the random helpful things we came across: dozens of DVDs, beach towels, a hair straightener, champagne flutes, etc. We were only there for three nights, but it would be easy to stay there for a few weeks if you're lucky to get such a long vacation.

The listing description and pictures are accurate. The unit was completely furnished with all amenities listed and the entire unit was clean and well maintained. The owner provided instructions for the TV/Cable/VCR which was helpful. The entire complex was also well maintained, quiet and within short walks to the beach and downtown McCall. The unit was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the stay, and we would rent again in the future.
