"My wife and I came to stay for a quiet getaway on the frozen bay, and it turned out to be just perfect for that. We read books and ate pizza from The Log Cabin and watched early 2000s movie dvds on the TV upstairs. The two electric fireplaces inside were running on full the whole time we were out there, but they managed to stave off the cold! "A church staff planning retreat for our Christmas events for next year. It was the perfect place and everything we needed. Love also the animals and while it was bitter cold and snowing all week not just the view was incredible but the animals were still all around the property. It was a winter wonderland and wonderful animals just made it that much better. Its definitely a place we can highly recommend. "

Each room was well-equipped with everything necessary and featured comfortable beds. The hot tub was a favorite among the girls. The property was spotless, and Mike was very attentive. "

"Myself and my Matron of Honor were coming to Frankenmuth early to prepare for my upcoming wedding and have a couple days of girls pampering. We had a blast staying at this home. "House was older, but charming. Very clean and well kept. Also great location to walk to downtown Frankenmuth which was a plus during Winterfest when driving is difficult. Only complaint might be lots of traffic even at night so it’s not real quiet to sleep. Would suggest curtains in upstairs bedrooms to help block out city lights. The blinds on the windows were not enough. "
