"We arrived at the check-in time. The apartment was ready, clean, and comfortable.The coffee, water, wine, popcorn and instant oatmeal were nice. Easy walk to Floyd Country Store, Farmers market, and restaurants. Needs: the coded door lock either needs to be replaced or needs a fresher battery. The rubber buttons are troublesome - requiring a long push for each. The towel rack in the bathroom needs to be reattached before it falls out. "This was a lovely little stay for us. We were traveling with our dog, so we needed somewhere to accommodate us. I would say this place is a bit more pet tolerant than pet friendly, but we were able to make it work. It was clean, efficient, and cute to boot. As others said, the stairs are a bit steeper than expected, but not unmanageable. "

"It was absolutely love. Love the history information and the fresh flowers were beautiful. The only suggestions that I would have. To replace the toilet with a tall handicap style toilet, toilet, and make sure that it was fastened well on the floor. Also provide a new mattress for the main floor bed Really hate to say anything about it because it was so lovely. Enjoy the peaceful. Thank you for providing this opportunity."

"Location, location, location! So quiet and peaceful. We stayed during winter so even more peaceful. Did not catch and fish but were told they migrate in winter. That was evident as we are avid anglers. Mt. Airy has all services and supplies one might need plus plenty of places to eat and historical things to do. The cons: Well water with sulfur smell. "I loved the people! Everyone was so nice and went out of their way to be helpful. Check in was easy and because we were there this trip for a funeral they got us into one of our rooms early so we could freshen up and change clothes before the service. They were very understanding and kind. Darrel was extremely helpful, he understood my husband was having health problems and could not walk long distances so he assigned us rooms near an exit we could park close to.
