"The stay was great but was surprised by the extra $40 charge per night for the two people that stayed with us in our 2nd room of a "two bedroom cabin " we already paid more money to be in that accommodate for a total of 4 people, I could understand if we had extra people in a 1 bedroom using the pull out or cots but this cabin is set up for two couples and the price reflected that already."

"We stay here every year , sometimes twice a year. The property is very pretty, quiet and cozy. The cabin has everything you need and the tub truly makes your skin feel amazing. Mellisa the property manager goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and she remembers us every time, leaving a sweet note on our papers for us when we come in late. "I really enjoyed my stay at Cowichan Bay in Danielle's guest house. The suite was quiet, nicely decorated, cozy and comfortable. There is a private sitting area with a partial view of the marina. I enjoyed hearing the sealions on the doc in the morning. The town is lovely with an excellent coffee house and bakery steps away. And a handful of options for lunch and dinner. I'd stay here again for a weekend getaway."

"A nice quiet getaway on an artistic island! The owners have a model railway on site that they are proud to show, as well as the Inner Healing Sound Spa. My wife and I enjoyed both events. The island is beautiful and easy to drive around. Lots of crafts and artists. A few minor things could be updated on the property, however all in all it was very satisfactory. "

"The room was very clean with an awesome view. The staff were very nice and polite and very helpful. The wave watching was spectacular as I understand it was a rare storm to occur during my one night stay. I have never been in a hotel while the power was off. At least there was a great little emergency lite in the washroom that worked great. I hope to return and stay longer. My choice of places to stay in Sidney will always be Sidney Waterfront Inn and Suites."
