"This trip was based on our little dog who is 15 so we needed a pet friendly place to stay. This filled all the boxes, a place for him to run around and be safe. The host was very accommodating and very easy to get ahold of. Only downside was the bedroom was a little tight but all in all highly recommend."

"Close to a beautiful beach and cove. Close enough for day trips to other parts of Nova Scotia. "

"Lovely view from our cabin on the lake. A short drive to Yarmouth and Cap Forchu. Missed having a hot plate to cook on rather than a bbq, but would not deter us from coming again."

"Property is a welcomed getaway with plenty of privacy. Cottage was immaculate and amenities were plentiful. Host provided access to kayak and dingy along with board games and outdoor propane fire pit. We will definitely return."

"We were so happy at the camper, it had every convenience and was well stocked. It was a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day (in the recliner chairs (inside and outside) or the hot tub!). The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, and very central to all the activities we took part in. The hosts were extremely nice and responsive to questions, and we would love to come back. Thank you so much."

"Compact, many small amenities that make a great stay even better. Everything is clean and high quality. Bryan was attentive and made sure we were settled and comfortable. We had the best stay, we can't wait to come back. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep and could be challenging for arthritic knees. The handrails are helpful and everything about the place speaks to safety and comfort. The sun room is a place you never want to leave. Its gorgeous and relaxing, exactly what we needed....

There should be better signage on the road leading to the cottage. We arrived late afternoon, GPS on but service is not the best. We drove way past the small number sign. With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia.
