There is a place in the world where time seems to have stopped, where simplicity rules, where peace of mind can be found. Welcome to Molokai, the most Hawaiian of all the islands.
Here on Molokai, one can’t help but be allured by the ruggedness of the world’s largest sea cliffs towering above crystal clear, turquoise waters, or the gentle stretches of untamed beaches, including the second longest beach in Hawaii.
Take a leisurely drive, hike or ride a pack animal through misty rainforests, to the silvery waterfalls, or through royal coconut groves. Watch out for the wild spotted deer, Molokai is a place where authenticity reigns supreme, the only main island in which native Hawaiians are the majority - only 7,000 people live on the island. You will find a warm welcome and friendly conversation among the locals and delight in their stories reaching generations back. See how National Geographic rated it #6 out of 111 islands in an article as it was published in the November/December 2006 issue of National Geographic Traveler Read Article.
Come discover this little corner of the planet and lose yourself in its splendid beauty…or perhaps more accurately, find yourself.
Paniolo Hale is an intimate cluster of condominiums located on the sunset rich west end of Molokai. Densely landscaped and quietly private, the grounds are a tropical garden. The sounds of chirping birds, whistling trade winds and ocean waves will carry you into tranquility. Truly a place of seclusion at its best.
Our two-bedroom end unit, with 1900 square feet, sleeps six, is newly decorated and enjoys garden and partial ocean views. Completely redecorated and furnished, the two-level, two bedroom, two bath condo features a downstairs living room with stereo/CD player, cable television and VCR/DVD player with movies, dining room, a large lanai wrapping completely around two sides, fully equipped kitchen, a downstairs bedroom with two double beds and TV, and full bath. Upstairs is a spacious master bedroom with king-size bed, TV, full master bath and private sundeck. A pull out sofa downstairs can accommodate extra guests. All linens are furnished, as well as boogey boards, snorkel equipment, and beach mats and other amenities.
Within the grounds of Paniolo Hale is an inviting swimming pool, an outdoor shower, and several outdoor grills and dining areas. Unfortunately the Kaluakoi golf course that is directly adjacent to Paniolo Hale has closed along with the Molokai Ranch Hotel. The picturesque shoreline is just steps away where you can enjoy the solitude of the many sugar-sand beaches, including Hawaii’s second longest sand beach, and the breathtaking sunset views famous to the islands.
