"The property was clean, but substandard in most areas. The welcome on arrival was pretty much non existent and we were told our confirmed Expedia booking didnt exist. The room was very small and the shower more so. There was 1 towel for 2 of us, though another was delivered on request. The aircon, which was essential leaked water when switched on. We put down a towel to catch the drips, but by morning the curtains (which incidently couldn't be opened) were drenched as was the towel we placed...

"A little disappointed with the Reception staff who weren’t very welcoming but it got better. WiFi connection was very hard to get in our room unless you connected near reception. New (double) bed needed as it was very springy and made sleeping very difficult. Good facilities with the pool which, sadly we couldn’t use due to time constraints."

"We spent 3 nights at the Maun Lodge. It is a bit older, but considering its convenience and free airport shuttle, we were happy with our stay. The room itself was basic but very clean and house keeping came every day to tidy up and replace any dirty towels and restock complimentary still water bottles to the room. "I have been in this lodge 2 days with my sons. I liked the style, the view and the staff. But in particular the surrounding area was amazing small rivers, lakes, wildlife was all there! Lions with cubs, a family of hyenas, antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, bison… beautiful!"

"Stayed two nights to sleep in & relax after two weeks on safari. Nice, private bungalos on the river. Perfect choice for kicking back. Be sure to arrange airport shuttle pickup before you arrive or it could be an hour or more wait. We would stay there again. "
