"The cabin was not hard to find, but Apple Maps does take you to the wrong location. The owner does warn about this. The address is on the outside of the cabin so as long as you’re paying attention, you’ll have no problems finding it. I do not recommend taking the road further down as you’ll find yourself maneuvering around potholes. The cabin is exactly as listed. The four beds are all in the main room so there isn’t a lot of privacy if you come as a group. We had no problems with any appliances...

"We came up to Potsdam to visit our daughter who is a college student and this home made our whole trip so special! Beth’s place was spotless and everything in this home was so well appointed. "We booked this amazing property for a 60th birthday & Girls trip to get away from the men & boys in our lives! It was perfect!!! There is so much room. We had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We could all comfortably sit in the living room, sit at the table & with only moving one chair around the fire pit on the porch. Any question or concern we had was promptly addressed by Shane. We throughly enjoyed our trip and had already started planning our return with some of the families next year!!!...

"Not only is the host , Beth, always super responsive but always provides a pristine and cozy spot for us to stay. I also find that each time I come up ( this might be my 6th stay) she has added some other improvement or decorative touch. "Follow a gps and it will take you right to the Cabin on the River. The hundreds of geese flying into the river was a real treat. Just beautiful to see. We brought my 91 year old Mother who enjoyed this cozy spot. We would love to come back again and bring our teenage grandkids for fly fishing. "

"I rented this cabin for myself and dog to visit my son at Clarkson. I was alone yet felt safe comfy and at peace at this rental. The cabin is well stocked and the WiFi service is excellent for the mountains. The property has its own network of trails that we thoroughly enjoyed walking. Communication with the owner was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to return."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The residence is a beautiful older home, 30’s & 40’s style hardwood floors, plaster walls, cool woodwork… things you don’t find in many more newly built homes. And a nice setting, close to groceries, eateries, gas. Would definitely consider staying here again,when in the North Country."
