Welcome! We are so happy to share The Mildred Haus and Guest Haus with you! It is one of those special Hill Country homes that retains its historic charm and yet has modern amenities. Located in the Texas Hill Country in Mason, Texas. (45 min from Fredericksburg, 1.5 from Austin and San Antonio), it’s the perfect weekend getaway and the bluebonnets abound in the spring! If you haven’t been to Mason yet, you are in for a treat! It is a smaller version of Fredericksburg.

Nestled in the center of Texas, in the Hill Country, The Mildred Haus and Guest Haus sits just East of the historic Mason Square, filled with wonderful shops, restaurants and other businesses. This historic 1872 German stone house with Victorian highlights makes for the perfect getaway. The main house is the heart of this property, where you'll find three inviting bedrooms and three well-appointed bathrooms. Each bedroom is a sanctuary of comfort, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. The spacious living room is the perfect gathering spot for you and your guests, with ample seating that invites relaxation.

The fully equipped kitchen is a culinary haven, featuring top-of-the-line appliances and all the amenities you need to prepare delicious meals. The kitchen's open layout ensures that the chef of the day can stay connected with the rest of the group, whether they're relaxing in the living room or setting the dining table.
