"We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful property with plenty of space for a group of 8 of us. Including children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old. We made use of the swimming facilities on site. Mary is a lovely host. Who answered all of our questions promptly . I would not hesistate to stay here again "

"The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! "

"Lovely little lodge in the heart of cawsand bay, the locals were all wonderful and we really enjoyed exploring the area and all along the coast. I would highly recommend if you want a few days away from the hustle and bustle of city life!"

"This is a lovely house in a great location with wonderful views over the cliffs and the sea. Quiet hamlet but good places nearby for shopping, lunches out, alternative bays for swimming. Walks from the door and other locations. Very nicely designed and equipped house. Suits group of friends, with indoor and rooftop places to chill and admire the view. Likely also good for a family. Owners are lovely and always very helpful"

"Great location on The Hoe and fantastic to be able to park right outside. The studio is pleasant enough but feels soulless. There was no rug on the floor and it seems spartan. I moved the sofa a little which helped. Bathroom tiny but manageable. They expect you to take your own rubbish out around the corner and do your washing up. Makes me think I am reliant on the previous guests’ rinsing of cups. Bed linen and towels were good quality. Leaving tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge...

"Really lovely house, lots of space and very well equipped and really comfortable. Really great garden and location was great for beach, pubs. Would recommend this house. "

"Our family of 3 and our dog stayed at Lower Marsh Farm in July 2024. Would highly recommend. We had a fantastic stay: converted barn was perfect, had everything you would want, fabulous bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, secluded enclosed garden etc. Amenities on site were excellent and we used the tennis court and table tennis room several times (equipment all there for you to use). Owners/staff very helpful and welcoming but not intrusive. Lovely walks on site too."

"Well equipped for a compact unit, quiet and peaceful location but within easy access of lovely walks on Bodmin moor and around the tiny country lanes Hosts on hand for information on surrounding local area. Small enclosed garden area which was ideal for the dog Very relaxing weekend break"

"Well if any place can surpasses your expectations, this was it. We are a well travelled family and I can truly say that the photos do not do it enough justice. The property is tastefully decorated and has everything you would need for a holiday. I would add that the dining table is so much nicer than the one in the photo. We could have sat in that room at that table and not left the house. The view is just superb. Thank you to our hosts, you have a piece of paradise there. We hope to be...

"Sehr guter, netter und sympathischer Vermieter Steve; Haus mit schönen Möbeln, Garten etc auch gut gemacht."

"The Rocket cottage was everything we’d hoped for ! Fantastic location looking out over the sea, good access to the beach below which is dog friendly, what more could we ask for. The cottage was peaceful, cosy and warm, internet connection a little weak in places but we managed. The bed was comfortable and having access to a washer dryer was a bonus. Portwrinkle is a beautiful spot to explore northern Cornwall and we would definitely recommend The Rocket cottage as a place to stay, we loved it ! "

"Overall a good stay. Room was really spacious and bed was comfortable, although pillows were really bad. I booked room for 3, but everything was for 2, from towels to coffee, but this was not a problem as reception was polite and efficient and they brought towels in no time. We saw a major leak in coming from toilet, so not sustainable not appropriate as the floor became all wet."
