Lookout Lodge has been recently updated for your enjoyment! This spacious three-story log cabin offers one of the most amazing panoramic mountain views in WNC. Your whole group will stay entertained with plenty of space to spread out, including two living areas, a recreation room, and upper and lower decks. Watch your favorite shows on any of six flat screen TVs, all with cable service. You'll love cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and sharing meals around the family dining table.

Serve your guests at the wet bar while enjoying the lower level stone fireplace and pool table. In the evening, unwind in the private hot tub and retire to a king-size bed in the main suite. Location Details
Situated at nearly 4,000-feet, the Scenic Wolf cabin community is high up in the Blue Ridge Mountains where the air is crisp and spectacular views are abundant. In the winter, guests enjoy convenient access to Wolf Ridge Ski Resort (located at the bottom of the mountain), featuring 72 acres of ski slopes with a total of 15 runs and 3 ski lifts. The Scenic Wolf community has numerous regional outdoor adventures such as whitewater rafting, horseback riding, ziplining, fishing, and hiking on the Appalachian Trail are all within an hour's drive. Important Property Notes
• Internet Outage. Please note, Lookout Lodge currently has an internet outage, with service expected to be restored in January 2025. Thank you for your understanding.
• Due to a steep, winding paved road leading to the Scenic Wolf cabins, use of a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended during the winter months.
• Each cabin at Scenic Wolf is large and multi-leveled with upper and lower decks located over steep drop-offs (providing the wonderful views!). If stairs or a fear of heights are a concern for anyone in your party, please ask a Vacation Coordinator about your cabin's specific layout to ensure the comfort of all guests!
• A clear cell signal at Scenic Wolf can be hit-or-miss. Each cabin has a landline phone and free wireless Internet to keep you connected.
• Seasonal Gas Fireplaces are not operational between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
• Travel Insurance Recommended. Due to the location of this home, any inclement weather in winter may render it unreachable. We highly recommend guests consider travelers insurance for this property as there are no refunds for weather.
• Ski Resort Changes. Please note, Wolf Ridge Ski Resort has been sold, and rebranded to Hatley's Point by new ownership. This ski mountain offers limited ski passes per day, and advanced purchase is recommended. This property is located on the same mountain as the slopes of Hatley Point Ski Resort, although during winter it's a 4 mile drive down and around the mountain to reach the lodge.

Property Cancellation Policy
Please note that this property’s Non-Refundable Period is 31 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking. Cancellations are permitted outside of this period, per our vacation rental agreement. We encourage you to consider travel insurance to help protect your vacation investment against the unknown!
