"The room was absolutely adorable. Freshly remodeled with excellent design choices. Functional kitchen. Super cute little cottage. Perfect weekend getaway for me and my dog. Only thing was it was a bit cold, but it was very cold snowy and windy outside, so its understandable. Could only get heat to get room up to 60 degrees F (i set thermostat to 90, but 60 was all it could pull off). My dog and i wore layers so we stayed warm enough. Very comfy bed."

"Wonderful camp, just magnificent views of the pond. The road was tough (unpaved), but it was so quiet. Again we went in October. Inside was very clean and nice, just like the photos they had on the website. We took drive to Bar Harbor very nice 👌 "

"Great experience. It was cozy environment. The only downside is there was some remienence of trash in the trashcan itself. Also, the toilet had very low water pressure and would not go down when being flushed (don't know if it was clogged beforehand or what, but we didn't do it). Other than that i would stay again. "

"This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Jacequline place in Acadia. Her place is tastefully decorated, very clean with all the essentials provided. My communication with Jacequline was very prompt and the check in/ out process was super easy. We loved the location of the place as well. Only about 10 minutes drive from Bar harbor and being right by the water with beautiful views from the house was refreshing. "The house was absolutely perfect! Bathrooms and kitchen were all well appointed. Property manager was great. The house was so cozy. Hot tub was amazing and so was the movie theater. The house is actually bigger than expected as well. Can’t wait to come back again!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Abby Lane. The basement was perfect for our teenager. We loved how there were board games to play with the family and also many local brochures to help with planning. We appreciate how there were plenty starting products such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, dish soap, and plenty of extra towels. The washer and dryer were a huge bonus! Having a stocked kitchen was incredibly helpful for breakfast each morning and we even noticed a large pot for cooking...

"We stayed here for a long weekend in October with our 3 kids (9, 7 and 4) and my parents. Location was great, close to Bar Harbor but far enough to feel in the woods. Fireplace wasn’t working but owner responded quickly with extra space heaters for us. "

Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. "Great location slightly dated but roomy and cozy house. You can't beat the proximity to the harbor or acadia. My family had a great experience."

"Freundliche, familiäre, gemütliche Ferienwohnung am Südrand von Ellsworth, trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Walmart, Hannaford) in wenigen Minuten mit Auto erreichbar. Bis zum Acadia NP etwa 15 Minuten. Wohnung ist mit allem (außer Spülmaschine) ausgestattet, Waschmöglichkeit im Erdgeschoß (Garage). Trotz herbstlicher Kühle am Abend haben wir den Gasgrill gerne und viel genutzt. James ist ein überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. "

"The thing I didn't realize to check was to make sure there was a microwave and coffee pot in the room. Especially when u have kid's they like to eat snack. You had to go to the lobby to make coffee and use the ONLY microwave on the property. Not everyone can afford the restaurant for breakfast, lunch n dinner. Overall the hotel was very nice n clean. The pool was kept clean just a little cold she be a little warmer while sitting watching your kid's swim. Thank You "

"Overall, it's a good hotel. Considering the rating, I expected a little bit more. It's an old hotel, but well-maintained. Could be renovated. The breakfast was very good, and the location was great. We stayed there to visit Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park."
