Summary:
Welcome to Hubbell Hill House - a relaxing, fun, and unique Catskills retreat. Here you’ll find:

• A LOT of nature (towering pines, a babbling brook, rock outcroppings) and plenty of peace and quiet.
• Outdoor fun and relaxation around the fire pit, hot tub, and picnic area.
• A smart entertainment system to enjoy music and movies.
• A fully equipped kitchen to cook delicious meals.
• New, comfortable hybrid mattresses.
• Games! Including a dartboard, corn hole, board games, and Atari.

The Space:
Cozy yet bright, open, and stylish — and surrounded by truly breathtaking natural beauty — we think our home really stands out from so many of the other Catskills homes, and we know you’ll love it here as much as we do!

Guest Access:
The entire house, yard, and driveway.

The Neighborhood:
Our home is in a very quiet neighborhood located on a picturesque country mountainside, about an 8 minute drive from downtown Margaretville, an adorable Catskills town with shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Getting Around:
You'll really be in the center of it all – hiking, swimming, skiing, eating, drinking, and shopping. There are so many trails, rivers, lakes, mountains, restaurants, breweries, and antique shops within a 20 mile radius. Our guestbook provides some recommendations if you're overwhelmed by options!

Secluded Catskills getaway
We had a wonderful stay in the Catskills, thanks to Jeff supplying us with a secluded and very homey abode. Really can’t get more private than this! The house was very clean, roomy, and well appointed! My wife enjoyed the hot tub at least twice a day, as it’s a requirement for any rental we book. Even though it was quite warm out, we were happy to have the use of a fire pit for S’mores! We would definitely recommend staying here if one wants to sit back, unwind, and forget about all of life’s little stresses!

Perfect space to unplug with family
We spent a few days at the house with our family. We enjoyed the privacy. The house is clean and neat and has an awesome vibe & aesthetic. The hot tub overlooking the creek was fantastic. The night sky was great for star gazing. The stocked pantry was so awesome! The entire family enjoyed the games from the game closet! The property is beautiful all around. The rooms are light and spacious. We enjoyed the fire pit overlooking the creek. Jeff was a wonderful host . We felt welcome the moment we walked in. The location was great to unplug and enjoy the beautiful area!

We were welcome by the babbling brook that runs along the property. The house was nice and clean with many modern furnishings and a great hot tub that hit the spot after a long day of snowboarding.

Our family stayed here for a long weekend getaway and belated birthday for my partner. We really enjoyed the house and our little one enjoyed the spacious kitchen area while helping us cook. We could have used a little more yard to play in snow but we still had fun in the space that was available. We were able to venture out to Margaretville and Windham without any trouble and had a great time using this property. The contact was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay.

Just right!
Great place and just as described. Well kept, clean, tastefully decorated. Very spacious common spaces, kitchen and bedrooms. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, sharp knives, pots/pans, spices, oils, coffee/tea/hot choc/filters/sugar. Heat and wood stove work great. Hot tub nice add-on and was a relaxing place to hang out even with snow on the ground! Owner very responsive and communicative. If you need to cancel or amend your reservation, pay attention to your dates...management company, Evolve, charged our credit card for the balance-due the day before the cancellation policy date. But, was responsive and helpful in issuing a refund for a change we had to make within that time frame. A couple of notes/suggestions: provide tissues for the bathrooms, perhaps a few extra towels to be available for showering, shades for master bathroom window (yes, house is secluded, but bathroom window faces driveway and you feel a little exposed!), SmartTV nice but couldn't log into our own Netflix/Prime/etc accounts b/c couldn't get past or log out of owner's and guest accounts to access our own, pillows are memory foam-ish and quite firm...so if you like softer pillows bring your own! Overall would definitely recommend and would stay again!

lovely fall weekend in the Catskills
We had a great time at this property on an extended fall weekend getaway. We did lots of hiking and cooking and made great use of the wood-burning stove. The house is clean and spacious and comfortable. We would definitely recommend it to people wanting to stay in this area. A few suggestions for the host/future guests: Bath towels are provided, but not towels for the hot tub. If you don't want to use the same towel for the hot tub and your shower, bring your own beach towels. (Or perhaps the host could provide a few.) The host provided logs for the wood burning stove but no kindling or newspaper. We started the fire with an old pizza box. It had recently rained so gathering kindling from outside wasn't an option. Having some newspaper nearby would be helpful! The hot tub was comfortable but a bit dirty. It was full of leaves and had a slimy sediment in the bottom. That didn't prevent us from enjoying it but my sense is that it could be cleaned more often. None of these things prevented us from having a great time, and we highly recommend this property!

Catskills Getaway
We had a great time at this property. It was clean, cozy and it was nice and secluded. There is a stream right by the house which made it feel peaceful and relaxing. We used the fire pit every night and relaxed in the jacuzzi. There is a little town 5 miles away with a few restaurants and a supermarket. We had a lovely time and didn't want to leave and would definitely come back!
