"This cabin was exactly the privacy and lack of inernet/cell service we desperately needed. Spacious enough that we're debating bringing a group next time! Some of the old VHS tapes and equipment/anemities were like a step back in time. Quiet, charming, and within driving distance (30-40 miles) of many great hiking spots and food. Honestly can't wait to come back!"

"Place was unique and cozy. Owners were kind enough to have the lights on as we arrived at night and couldn't see. They left us a bottle off wine and chocolates and came to check to see if we needed anything the next day. Great people I could see us being friends with. Beautiful property will definitely stay there again."

"This place was perfect for what we needed. The front porch was the highlight of our mornings, drinking coffee in the rocking chairs. It’s within close distance to all the things we were hoping to get to, Bayfield and the apostle islands. It may be due for a bug treatment as there were lots of spiders throughout the house, but other than that this place was awesome!"

We all served together in Afghanistan with the 173rd airborne brigade 1/503rd light infantry in 2009-2010 and 2011-2012. "A super cute and cozy cabin that is about a 25 min drive to the Brikie trailhead and downtown Hayward. We came up for the Birkie trail run and were super happy with the location. The owner is really nice and the resort dog, Vincent, is such a sweetheart! The lake is beautiful and the restaurant/bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Would stay here again!"
