"The room was good except that it was very cold, the radiator was turned up high but the room never got warm. The duvet was only Summer weight so we had to use a towel and our coats to try and keep warm. Breakfast was continental and good, but a full English would have been preferred after a cold night! The ladies who served breakfast were lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. "

"Hotel and grounds lovely, very peaceful. I booked a table for the 1762 menu and when we sat down to dinner we were told it was not available. I made a huge mistake booking the wrong dates to visit the follies i had even enquired at the hotel but they failed to mention they were not open on the dates i booked. "Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "

"I've stayed here before and after a second trip I feel I can make a fair assessment. The room was fairly newly decorated, neutral, comfy and clean. Walls very thin though TV was great, you can screen mirror from your phone or tablet which made our movie night. Bathroom was dated and shower desperately needs updating along with improved water pressure. Ladies we need a movable shower head don't we? Fan didn't work with no bathroom window which isn't ideal (room 302). The showers in the club...

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open.
