"My husband and I stayed 5 days at Casa Verde. We had a very relaxing time there. The town is very small and everything is in walking distance. However, if you get a lot at the bigger grocery store, you might want to ask for them to deliver it for you. The beach is very close by. We bought two beach chairs to use while we were there and left them for others to use since there weren’t any. A few things to know: First, this house is very basic, just the essentials, no extras. "We really enjoyed our stay in Cahuita. The property is unique , clean and comfortable. Loved the pool. The location is great, walking distance to supermarket, restaurants and Cahuita National park, oops cannot forget the ice cream shop too. Kitchen could use a few small things and maybe a toaster but no big deal. Doris is a pleasure to deal with, had problem with internet on arrival and she had it fixed by next day. Overall exceeded our expectations."

"We loved our stay here for 2 weeks! The property is incredibly well maintained, and the hosts and property managers are fabulous. The pool cabana is a highlight and the closest beach is almost private. Because you are in the jungle, you need to be okay with all the creatures that come with it. "We spent 5 days in october 24 as a family in the happy house. The location in the dschungel close to the beach is just perfekt. The beach is very quiet and sandy. About the best we saw on the carribean side. The house itself is very nice especially the big terrace facing the nice garden where we saw lot of monkeys. Steve was a very helpfuf host. We would love to come back."

"Magical place amongst the trees and only a very short wander to the beach. Monkeys swinging during the daytime and frogs only a quick search away at night. It’s a small hotel with most rooms looking out at the pool area. "Its was terrible. The only highlight was the girl that was working at the office. The place is nasty. We were there for 4 night and they charged us double price ! My friend was staying there and he only paid a little amount. There music very loud and people a screaming at 8-9 am. Manzanillo is very far of puerto viejo ai you must have a car or rent a bike. Dont pay 100$ for this ! "
