"We had a wonderful stay in the house which is in a very quiet place. House is comfortable, very well equipped and the master bedroom is awesome with large windows, you have the feeling to be in the trees. Outdoor is very nice too to appreciate the evenings. It’s only 20’ from Lassen Volcanic NP which is a great place to visit for several days: hiking Lassen peak with a top view, swimming in summit lake, visiting the small but well done museum, take good time at manzanita lake, etc… we stayed...

"We enjoyed our stay at the river house. We loved the views of the river from most of the house, the large backyard oasis and the swing down by the river. "Though we only stayed for a night, I felt at home as soon as we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to set us up and prepare us for the night. We were offered firewood which we used to have a small barbecue and s’mores outside our room right before we crawled into bed. The mix of homemade food with the suspenseful forest night ambiance made our stay fun and extremely comfortable. "

"We only wish we could've stayed longer!! This is an amazing cabin in the woods. It is well-stocked, spacious, and comfortable. There are little added touches that really make it special hammocks in the back, a bottle of wine, coloring books for the kids, and maps of the area. I would highly recommend! Communication was easy and quick."

"If you want to stay in a northern CA, retro, early 1900’s with updates, one family owned cabin this is your place. It’s got the original wood kitchen cabinets and checkered linoleum floor with enamel sink, no air condition, no garage, and more details of its time period. Closets and drawers have owner items but there’s room for your things, too. The staircase is steep and wood, not toddler or senior friendly. "Nice and cozy older home located between Mt. Lassen and Lake Almanor. Good quiet place with spacious bedrooms. It's an older home so don't expect anything fancy, but it has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Owner was very nice a helpful. We'll definitely be returning in the future."

"The house had cobweb's on light fixtures, vents were dirty, dead bugs in windowsills, air conditioning systems didn’t work well, some rooms were good while others had none, on the last night air conditioning had system error ( which I reported right away as for all issues and took pictures) foosball table was broken, table tennis paddle was broken, projector didn’t work, pool traps were dirty (we had to clean them out) we couldn’t really enjoy the pool because of the infestation of wasps.
