"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"After 26hours on planes and in airports my wife just wanted to go home.. So I took her here instead. It was a great wind down in a beautiful setting with a home that had everything we needed to relax, chillout and be self sufficient. "Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway."

"Our stay was in renovated historic stables in Springton S.A. 2 bedrooms with queen bed in each, lounge room, new kitchen with induction cooktops, coffee POD machine, a heritage style bathroom with a big claw footed bath and shower, washing machine and dryer, split system air conditioning. A pond, a billabong, and hammock. Set in approx 1 acre, relaxing atmosphere. Terrific holiday, extremely relaxing, close to Barossa Valley. Thoroughly recommend "

"The moment we opened the door the cottage had embraced us both, we felt welcomed and relaxed. This amazing 1860 cottage has been beautifully renovated with rustic features and gorgeous timber furniture throughout. The open fireplace was very romantic along with the fair lights covering the ceil which felt special. The view of its garden was simply amazing. "The communication with the property owner was fantastic....This is truely a hidden gem.....Nature, quietness, calmness galore!! A great place to relax and enjoy. The fire pit is sensational. "We had a wonderful time in Chris and Tracy's beautiful little cabin. It has all the modcons and excellent views of their amazing property. The alpacas and sheep are incredible. "The bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was fine. But the dust was thick on many surfaces - the top of the fridge, microwave, skirting boards, power points, venetian blinds, and doorway. Also the TV had no signal much of the time so I was appreciative of a pack of cards and 50 year old National Geographic magazines to pass the time."
