"When I made the reservation I chose a room with a king size bed, but when I got to the hotel they weren't really interested in giving me the room I've reserved because the reservation was made thru Expedia. The front desk lady said that it was a "special request" and they had the option to not provide it, they only gave me a 2 single bed room which is cheaper. So disappointed. Appears that making the reservation thru Expedia will ensure me some headache in the future as hotels don't care and...

"I liked the hotel and its location. The suite is beautiful and spacious. The only thing is: There was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. I really hope this is an isolated thing. I did not complain, as after an hour the smell seemed to have stopped. I was able to smell it again when I returned late at night. I think I got used to it and that is why I thought it had stopped. Anyways, the room is nice but my stay got ruined by this."

"The staff at A Venue or very profession providing a high level of service. Front desk and Bell Captains were responsive. The restaurant was good. Although they need to replace sterno in the buffet to ensure food at 9:45am is still hot. Many dishes were cold which was unfortunate. The pool is very nice and 5th Corner Bar adjacent to the pool nice place to hang out. Great location in Makati near SM Market across the street, Century Mall is right around the corner, and restaurants and Starbucks 1...

"Room was clean and spacious. Wi-fi was fast. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location is very convenient. When we usually visit Metro Manila, we always stay in Ortigas area but haven't considered this hotel before. From now on, this hotel will be in my list. It's across Podium and a short distance to Megamall. They also offer free baggage storage if you have back to back bookings with them which I didn't know was available as I booked other hotels with this trip."
