"I was looking for a quiet & peaceful retreat to ring in the New Year and Meadow View Cottage was just the ticket!I enjoyed a glorious crackling fire in the outdoor fire pit, brisk walks along the creek and pond, and nothing but birdsong, foxes barking, and cows mooing for sounds.I got the rest & recharge I sorely needed in the cozy comfort of the cottage.The climb up into the loft for sleeping is steep and was a little tough without a railing on the left, but I was able to manage it in spite of...

"Charming farmhouse -! Comfy beds - plenty of room for families . We went in the winter time and it was very well heated -nice laundry room and kitchen area with all utensils and kitchen equipment -best part was location for us- we were only one mile from spooky nook for our tournaments !"

"Newer hotel, nice set up. Our room still smelled new! Elevator was not working when we checked out, other than that very nice place. Did not find any place to drop room keys at checkout, so had to climb stairs to return them to our room. That would be my only complaint"

"Such a wonderful place to stay, it felt like home!Would definitely stay there again. The host’s were very friendly and went above and beyond. It had snowed during our stay and the driveway, walkways and even our cars were cleaned off. It was also nice to know the story behind Betty’s house! "

"This house was an excellent size for our family of 5. The kitchen had plenty of bowls/plates/cups. It also had a toaster and pots for cooking a light breakfast. The house is older and has more of the “old house charm” than I expected, with lots of character in the walls and staircase. The home was very very clean though! And had lovely hot water. For the price, this was a great option for us. The location was also very convenient. "

"The location is incredible…think of it more like a headquarters than a unit you’ll want to spend a lot of time in. Walkable to downtown and it’s a nice walk. Belvedere Inn around the corner, can’t beat that.The heating/AC unit in the bedroom is loud and rattles intermittently…we had noisemakers with us because we read about it in another review, but it was still too loud for my wife, she ended up sleeping on the couch in the other room and we cut our trip short by a day after several nights of...

"The house was perfect for our family Christmas. They even had. Christmas Tree and Christmas dishes. Hopefully making it a family tradition to come back every year!!!"

"My overall impression of this home is speechless. 10/10. The accommodations, the fresh baked cookies, the speediness in response to any concerns. It was amazing! So glad I had this luxury home to start the year off! Thank you for everything! "

"Only stayed here overnight, but everything was satisfactory. Everything is provided and there were even snacks. The hot tub was out of commission which was disappointing, but the host was accommodating when I brought it to attention. Enjoyable stay overall!"

"We come to Lancaster for tournaments just about every month. This is our first time here at this hotel and I will definitely make it our regular place. Everything is new and clean, and the beds are really comfortable too. And the front desk couldn’t have been nicer! There’s a plaza, Donegal Square, just one minute up the street with lots of good food options. A Taco Bell, a Sheetz gas station, and a Starbucks between here the plaza! It’s literally 4 minutes to Spooky Nook. Best option possible...
