The owner was very helpful and responsive. "This place is great! Close to Salem and just a train ride to Boston. Quiet neighborhood and close to local stores and restaurants. I stay there with my husband, Aunt and cousin all in our seventies. This is not a place for seniors or people with disabilities. The entrance you have stairs to the porch and steep stairs to the the apartment which made it hard for us. I don’t know if this is normal for this part of the country.But overall the place was nice and well stocked. Suggestion: "

She said she had nothing to do with Vrbo and no listed properties. We called Vrbo and they could not get through to her. Meanwhile we had no place to stay and had to get a hotel at higher price. "Beautiful, cozy stay near the ocean. Beautiful views a short walk away. Because of the weather we didn't get to use much of the outdoor space, but several nice chairs outside. Felt pretty private, separate entrance from rest of house. The grill was a nice touch, but nowhere to sit and eat inside (other than the bed) so we didn't get a chance to cook. Thanks for the lovely stay!"

"We greatly enjoyed staying at this property! The two bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen and living room had everything we needed, the place was spotless, and the back patio was adorable. We could not have been more pleased with the location - safe, quiet street, and walkable to the T, shops, groceries, CVS, restaurants, and green spaces. The host was incredibly communicative and we were well informed throughout our entire visit. We would most definitely stay again!"

"Everything about the cottage was great! We went to visit salem & it was just a short ride away. Everything we needed was close by. The house itself was so pretty. The host had everything you needed down to snacks & water when we arrived. Even coffee pods were included.( I'm pretty serious about my coffee). "We loved this location for our girls trip! The owner was excellent in responding to all our questions and needs. The views from the home are beautiful. If noise bothers you, this is very close to the airport and there is some type of industrial operation on the river. So you do hear airplanes all night as well as very loud metal banging from the river that starts early in the morning. I only mention this as an FYI! It did not lower the rating for us personally! "
