Four Season Cabin Great for Large Families and Groups

Bring your family and friends and fall in love with this delightful cabin and the serene north country that surrounds you and your guests. We have two other beautiful cabins on this property so you can bring all of your family and friends for relaxation, natural beauty and plenty of family/friends togetherness!

This cabin getaway is a perfect destination to enjoy the beauty of Michigan and all the seasonal activities it has to offer. Set on 20 acres, surrounded by mature maple trees and located 15 minutes from Shanty Creek/Schuss Mountain, 40 minutes to Boyne Mountain, 57 minutes to Charlevoix, 18 minutes to Lake Bellaire, 36 minutes to Torch Lake , 45 minutes to Traverse City and 1 hour to Mackinac Island!

Move in for a week or weekend and make yourself right at home. Come stay for a family retreat, family reunion, a girls getaway or a guys outdoor adventure week.

This property has rolling hills, wide open spaces for plenty of outdoor activities and spectacular views to the West to enjoy amazing sun sets.

An outdoor enthusiast's playground! In the spring, summer & fall you can hike and enjoy outdoor games on the property and in the winter you cross country ski, snowshoe right outside your door!

Extra room to park your trailers and boats on property.

Actual riding of off road vehicles is NOT permitted on our property, however, nearby there is access to state maintained trails that will give you hours of outdoor adventure!

Antrim County allows snowmobiles and off road vehicles on the shoulder of the roads to enjoy the area or get to trail heads. You can do this right from the cabin by driving on our road out to the shoulder and then to the trails. We also have plenty of space right outside your door to park your trailer and sleds.

The quaint town of Bellaire is only a ten minute drive from the cabin. Short's Brewery on main street, as well as many other great restaurants, distilleries, and local shops.

If it is night life you are looking for, you can take a 50 minute scenic ride to Traverse City or Petoskey, Boyne medium size cities with plenty of shopping, live entertainment and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from!

Also on site is our Maple Ridge Event Center will be fully renovated and ready for weddings, reunions, graduation parties, birthday celebrations, bridal/baby showers, anniversary parties, retirement parties, etc.

We no longer offer cable TV, instead have brand new 55" Smart TV for you to enjoy!

We only take reservations and payment through VRBO.

RATES:
* $425/$500night - seasonal rates may apply
(up to 14 people in beds) 2 night min. stay - Low Season 4 night min. stay High Season
* Price varies due to the season
* $10 per extra person per night (beyond 16 people)
* $500 security/damage deposit

The $500.00 deposit for Damage protection will be fully refunded within 7 business days departure unless there is something damaged that needs to be fixed or housekeeping charges extra for excess cleaning if the cabin is left very messy.

This cabin can accommodate up to 20 guest if additional bedding is brought in.

Amazing golf trip!
We stayed here with 14 adults and everyone had a bed. House is fitted with all your needs. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, pans, bowls, utensils, etc. Check in was amazingly easy and the owner was easy to contact for the one issue we encountered. This would be a great place for families on a ski trip or a group of friends looking for a place up north to hang out.

Perfect for Golf Trips
Cabin was better than we initially thought. The pictures make the property look tiny. Much more open. Cabin was clean and tidy. Away from other homes so no issue with noise. Cabin is abt 35 minutes from Treetops Golf Resort and 20 minutes to Torch Lake.

Our family enjoyed our stay!
This was our first time to the area. Everyone liked the cabin. We appreciated the 4 full baths for the 3 families plus teens that stayed. Although we didn’t get to use it, we liked the option to swim and use their other amenities at the Starlight campground across the street. Lots of parking space, quiet (I was worried the event center and other cabins would make the place loud and busy but that was not a problem at all), nice little fire pit, and clean! Our family would stay again.

Family Gathering
We were impressed with the size of the place and the quality of the furnishing. It worked out well for our stay. You can't beat the view. The locks on the back door are a little precarious and should be fixed.

Overall OK Cabin Experience
We rented this cabin for the longer weekend with family and some friends. We wanted to visit Mackinac Island and Sleeping Bear Dunes. This cabin is located about 1 hour 20 minutes from both of those location. * PROS * - Nice location. Well secluded from the nearby cabins. Good private space. - Kitchen with all appliances. - Game room with Ping pong and foosball table & other board games. - Fire Pit outside. - Three storied building including walk out basement that leads to fire pit. * CONS * - No soap or shampoo. A big downer. I have been to many VRBO and hotel rooms and all had soaps and shampoo. This one did not have any. Very frustrating experience. It doesn't cost much. - Not enough Toilet papers. Toilet paper supply was very low. We had to buy some. The host should have them stocked a bit. - Hardly any extra comforters (I thought there was just one extra). For the size of this cabin, they should have few more, especially they consider a sofa bed for two persons. - No hair dryers or iron. Bathrooms were just as barebone as it can be. Overall, it was an OK (decent) experience. There are lot of better options on VRBO for Northern Michigan area. Thanks.

Maple Ridge Cabins 😁
Maple Ridge Cabins we will be back! The house was perfect for our large ATV group. Easy access to the trail system, the house was clean, the hosts were very informative and helpful giving us information for festivals, restaurants and things to do. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Cabin was not as clean when we arrived as we were asked to have it when we left. There were dirty socks under the downstairs bed, the stove had burned food on it, and there are alive ladybugs and flies inside the cabin and dead ones as well in the light shades.

Amy was very helpful with all of our requests that helped us to plan our vacation hassle free. And location wise is very nice and little close by to Sleeping Sand dunes and Mackinac island which is added advantage. We had a great time staying at this Cabin and will visit again for sure.

Family Reunion
We had a great time at the house. House was spacious and clean. We had a family reunion there and were able to see many different areas of northern Michigan. Communication with the property manager was easy and fast. We enjoyed ping pong, foosball, games, and evenings outside by the fire.

Perfect for a family vacation
This house was a great place to lay our heads at night. We were on the go every day but felt at “home” when we got back in the evenings! It was a comfortable space for our adult daughter to do a few “work from home days” too. When the internet went out area wide, Kathy was so accommodating and quickly brought over a hotspot box so our daughter could do her mandatory work day. We wish we’d had more time to enjoy the ping pong and fuse ball tables! The house was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen! There were a few things that need fixing, but nothing major and I did let Kathy know. Overall this was a great property for our week in northern Michigan!

Mancelona Stay
This place had a lot of space and plenty of bathrooms for our summer family get-together. We did need air mattresses to sleep everyone comfortably. Be advised that light sleepers will have more difficulty sleeping on the bottom floor, as just walking on the main floor can be quite loud for those below. Safety rails for the bunk beds would be a great addition so kids could sleep on the top bunk. The rails located under the beds do not actually fit on the beds. I wonder if a noise reducing curtain could possibly be added upstairs to help reduce noise from the living room, though that's really only an issue if you have people staying up later and visiting. If you are traveling with infants and toddlers, be advised that the cleaning chemicals under the sink are behind a curtain, not a cabinet door and not locked. There is a high shelf by the side door that they can be moved to so they are out of reach, which is what we did for our stay and that worked good for us. We did enjoy our stay and had a great time. We were able to travel to different areas quite easily and quick access to a grocery store.

ATV Easter Weekend Getaway
We loved everything about our stay. Amy did a great job communicating with me in a timely and informative manner. She sent me maps and inquired about local ATV trails so we could plan our trip. Kathy, the on-site POC was also very friendly and helpful. Even though it was Easter Weekend, she said we could contact her if we needed to. The house was very clean and smelled so good when we walked in. The mud room was an added bonus for all of our snowsuits, boots, coats, etc. We had 18 people ranging from 5 to 75 and we all had a place to sleep. The upstairs 4 twin bedroom had a lot of space for extra people to sleep. Having the washer and dryer was very helpful as well as extra towels and starter toilet paper. And parking was a plus! We had plenty of room for two pickups each pulling 24 ft trailers to off load our ATVs and remain parked...didn't have to off-load then move vehicles. The kids enjoyed playing in the big yard, and everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. Thank you for allowing us to stay here. We had a great time with our family and would recommend this place to anyone who needs a getaway.

Clean, spacious, comfortable! Location is perfect for skiing at Shanty creek, close to Torch Lake for summer fun. I liked they provide with towels, bedsheets, dishsoap, garbage bags and hand soap. It was a great stay. Communication was awesome.

Ski Weekend
14 of us fit very well! The mud room was awesome for all of our gear. The bunk beds and twin beds were perfect for all of our kids. 4 bathrooms was great so each family could have their own. The location was great for Shuss Mountain and Boyne Mountain skiing.

Great time at Maple Ridge Cabins
Our experience with Maple Ridge Cabins was excellent. The cabin was well equipped, and very comfortable. We are a group of friends that do an annual fall ORV ride in northern Michigan to sight see the fall colors. This was our first time to this VRBO and it did not disappoint. We'll be back for more fall/winter visits.

Great place for a guys weekend!
We had a great time, the property was perfect for a big group of guys and the location was also great! We were twenty minutes from great golf and then able to quickly shoot over to Torch Lake as well. Having so many beds was the game changer for us!

Needs some updates, a couple of odd things, in the kitchen. There are a few missing shingles on the roof, someone may want to look at that. The upstairs bedroom would be nice if there were a chair or bench, not bean bags, a shade is missing off one of the windows in that room.

Family Getaway
The cabin was the perfect size to accommodate our extended family of ten. It was the perfect place to unwind after busy days exploring the Mitten and UP. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and barbecue on the grill. We had plenty of space to spread out and recharge each night. Also the property was lovely and centrally located.
