Exclusive Tropical Beachfront Condo in beautiful Mar Chiquita Beach. Amazing views of the vibrant colors of the turquoise waters, birds and abundance of coconut palm trees. At night the sound of the waves serenading and the stars are the main attraction!!! Open and airy, lots of natural light two bedrooms with luxurious comfortable King and Queen size beds, blackout curtains, gorgeous nautical contemporary furniture, walk-in closet, air conditioners and ceiling fans in every room. TV's in the living room and Master bedroom, two newly renovated full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, wet bar, dining room, living room with sectional sleeping bed, large balcony with amazing vistas, rocking chairs and a high top table to enjoy breakfast and a romantic dinner. A garage with a half bathroom and closet where you can find snorkel equipment, beach chairs, beach lounges, beach umbrellas, kites, etc. Outdoor personal terrace with a well maintained tropical garden, a comfy hammock, a wood deck and a private boardwalk leading to a secluded beach with your own beautiful mosaics outdoor shower, benches with a table, sitting area and a charcoal BBQ kitchenette with sink and prep area. Gated quiet complex with security. Beautiful lush tropical gardens thru out the complex. A Pool with a gazebo to enjoy gatherings with friends and family. Close to local bars and restaurants, Prime Outlet shopping mall, horse back riding, surfing, tropical forest, zip-lining, caves and caverns, Casino, Arecibo Observatory, Toro Negro rain forest and many other natural and cultural attractions. Mar Chiquita Beach is about a 45 minute drive from San Juan International Airport. Personally I love Mar Chiquita because it's not too far, but it feels like it's worlds away. I love the lush landscapes, the coastal vistas, the perfect weather. I love to go swimming after work before going to dinner. Mar Chiquita makes me feel completely re-energized.


We highly recommend travel insurance during hurricane season.

Excellent property. Closest beach to soak in is Mar Chiquita- super close, can walk there. And playa Los Tubos a very short drive. Beach in front of property is nice to walk and sit and relax. Apartment is in excellent condition.

Amazing experience!!
We just got back from our week stay at this property. It was even better than I had anticipated. Lily the property manager was extremely helpful, responsive, and just overall a great human being. My family and I have never visited PR before but Lily provided us will a lot of recommendations to get our vacation started off on the right foot! The location of the condo to the beach was about as good as you could ask for. It was the perfect place my family and I am very grateful to have stumbled upon this gem. Thanks, Lily!!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The apartment was beautiful and in an incredible location! We enjoyed the early morning sunrises and private beach every day! Excellent place. Close to everything you need but feels like your away from crowds. Pool is great. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioner worked great. Kitchen had everything you need to make a meal. Felt very secure. If you want to get out of San Juan and enjoy the country this is a great location.

Ideal, Peaceful Location on the Ocean
We found the location to be perfect. The neighborhood was amazingly quiet and the private beach was great. The unit itself was in beautiful condition and very clean. We highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a perfect beach vacation.

What a find!
I've visited Puerto Rico many times but never this section of the island. The Puerto Rican vibe here is strong and you feel like a local more than a tourist. The nearly private beach and cozy digs made this a truly enjoyable and relaxing trip. We rented a car and took day trips and enjoyed this view every day. Will be back!

Great Stay!
Great property and great location. Lilly the property manager was available and responsive when needed for questions. Mar Chiquita beach was a short walk from property. Also highly recommend Playa Los Golondrinas which is a short drive from property! Would definitely stay here again!

Girls get away
Just a few steps from the beach. The beachside patio is actually separated by a parking lot from this second story condo. The community pool is at the other end of the condos. All walkable. Interior is just as shown in the photos. Well appointed with everything you could need except food. Clean accomodation. 3 stars because the master bath had a serious moth fly population....we kepth that door closed and just used the hallway bath. It being a short trip...not much could be remedied before our departure so we didn't bother the hosts about it. There's more beach supplies in the garage. There's keys for everything. There's a gate gaurd all night who is very sweet. Good lowfi no fuss accomodation for exploring the neighborhood and the rest of the island.

Perfect getaway.
The living quarters were comfortable and nice and cozy. The location was just what we needed. Our view and access to the beach, every moment of the day was nothing short of awe inspiring. We loved sitting and walking the shoreline collecting shells with our daughter and watching the waves for hours. Truly paradise with the beauty of the ocean on full display.

Charged for amenities that were not available
Our low rating of this VRBO property is due to the owners unpreparedness and response to the aftermath of hurricane Fiona during our 8 day visit. 12 hours after we checked-in, the property lost power and did not return for five days. By the 6th night we cut our losses and moved to a hotel in San Juan. We learned that many businesses had prepared for inclement weather and due to their preparedness they never lost power or water. I had booked this property 3 months prior due to the properties positive reviews, beautiful photos, location (on the beach), and offered amenities. I felt safe booking this and paying a premium price....because I thought we would receive premium service. We did not. Due to the loss of power we were unable to use the following amenities. Stove/oven, hot water heater, A/C, light fixtures, microwave, washer, dryer, the security gate (was unlocked all week and opened there for no security) wifi, TV's, etc. After we specifically asked Carlos if the property had a generator to switch too he reported there was one in the closet. We then had to set this up with oil and gas ourselves. All of the appliances other than the fridge were 30 AMP and there were no cables long enough to run any other appliances. Due to the lack of extension cords the generator had to be placed on our patio with any cords running through the patio door so the door had to remain cracked. Causing fumes. Even though we chose not to listen to our generator 24/7 and smell our gas 24/7 we still had to listen to the neighbors 24/7 and smell the gas from their generator. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the waves, opening windows at night to try and stay cool, drinking coffee outside in the mornings, wine in the evenings.....not as romantic when it smells like gas and sounds like you're at a race track for 5 days. I did not ask Carlos for a full refund as he could not control the hurricane. But, as a business owner he can control having a back up plan for situations like this (when paying a premium price)....many other businesses on the island were prepared for this and kept their guests happy. I asked Carlos for a 50% refund as we did not get the experience we were sold....along with being unable to use ANY of the amenities. He denied the refund as 'this is his only source of income' If you are going to charge premium prices....you should be prepared to go above and beyond to help your guests and not leave them stranded for 5 days with no power.

I love this property soooo much!!
Just like the pictures. So peaceful and the scenery is so beautiful! The hostess Sonja and Carlos were amazing!! Great communication skills!! Everyone was very nice. The beach is beautiful. Have fish right by the shore. OMG....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR PRESS BOOK NOW!!! THANK ME LATER!

We didn’t want to leave! Absolutely beautiful!
This was a great place to stay. I have no complaints. The Beds are comfortable, the shower was amazing and we felt very at home. We loved hanging out on the the patio/garden area and grilled our food and had dinner out there. Did I mention there were any mosquitoes or bugs. It’s is a gated community and there is a gate keeper at night. We felt very safe. The beach that the apartment faces is used for horseback riding so beware of the horse manure while you walk the 3 minutes to get to Mar Chiquita. There is also another amazing beach that is a 5 min drive west that is calm and crystal clear. This is one of the best locations I have ever stayed in. Manati, PR has many beautiful natural beach pools to see.

A Little Slice of Paradise
My husband and I had been dreaming of returning to Puerto Rico for years. Our honeymoon began in Puerto Rico in 2004 and we fell more in love with each other and the beautiful island during that first visit. We also realized over the years that we are not cruise or resort people. This was our first experience with a condo and we are now hooked. We loved everything about this experience. The condo was spacious, clean, and had a million dollar view. Sonia and Carlos were extremely helpful at getting us settled. Muchas gracias! We loved being away from congested tourist locations. We spent our days at Puerto Nuevo -Vega Baja (public beach) and Poza de las Mujeres (private beach). We had the beach to ourselves for 1-2 hours most days. Both were lovely and were perfect for my 14 year old and 5 year old. The food at Pan Pan Pizza, Costa Azul, and Agranel was out of the world! I highly recommend the La Veggie Pizza (Pan Pan), the Mofongo (Costa Azul), and the guava and cheese donut (Agranel). My teenager devoured the rice and beans at Costa Azul. We also loved the food at Shore Truck a food truck in Vega Baja. The Arepe and Mofongo were made to order and extremely delicious. If you are looking for an experience that immerses you in the culture and is slightly off the beaten path, this is for you. There were so many opportunities available for exploration and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I desperately miss the ocean view and the food. We are now saving up for our next visit to Puerto Rico! Thanks again for the hospitality and warm welcome.

You feel like you have your own private amazingly beautiful beach. So picturesque and charming!
The location is in an unassuming area yet charming and once you get settled you will find you are in a peaceful paradise with wonderful local stores restaurants and people. This is not like resort living, this is Puerto Rico with all it’s natural beauty. We loved the view and the beach with our own private beachside hangout area. The adjacent beach 1 minute walk away has a great mix of locals and tourists and vendors. The Mar Chiquita lagoon is like a natural wave pool and is so much fun to hang out in and snorkel. There are also little tide pools for the young ones.
