Featuring a comfortable and inviting living room area arranged in such a way everyone will be able to watch TV and enjoy the warmth coming out of the pellet stove, a fully-equipped kitchen with brand new matching appliances, two small balconies from which you can enjoy a view of the peaceful forest and the mountain critters, you wonā€™t find anything like this charming vacation rental! Take advantage of the shared on-site amenities that include a swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, and a grill!

Located close to Canyon Lodge, this retreat is conveniently situated for an exciting day on the slopes. The Earthquake Fault Trail offers scenic hiking trails for everyone to enjoy. Downtown Mammoth Lakes is under a mile east, which means dining and entertainment will be just a stoneā€™s throw away! Yosemite National Park is a 39-mile drive away, but itā€™s totally worth the trip. The Mammoth Mountain is four and a half miles away and offers the chance to try skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and more. Hidden Valley #2 is an easy walk to The Village and The Village Gondola!

TO MANY STAIRS

Everything was awesome except the stairs. there was no elevator for all the flights of stairs with our stuff was really bad and dangerous. Besides the stairs, everything else was in perfect order I mean we really enjoyed the stay we had the best time and just dreaded going up and down from the stairs.

Nice condo, not so for the door lock

Two times during our stay, we could not access the condo because the code for door lock had expired, requiring us to call to get a new code. What if we had been returning from the spa without our phone?!?!?

BLOOD ON SHEETS UPON CHECK IN! DISGUSTING PROPERTY AND HORRIBLE OWNERS!

We arrived here late at night after a long drive, only to find BLOOD all over the sheets on the bottom bed. Not only is that DISGUSTING, but clearly indicates the sheets were NEVER WASHED. Customer support was TERRIBLE as you need to go through a 3rd party who replies to your concerns with nothing but surveys. After finally getting through to someone, they promised to change the sheets, but instead LEFT A TRASHBAG OF SHEETS outside our room for us to change ourselves. I didn't PAY to handle biohazard material that even hospitals require specialized equipment to handle. This place is by far the WORST experience I've ever had and has refused even a partial refund multiple times even though half the rooms were UNUSABLE. Save your self the trouble and find another place that won't give you a disease from someone else's blood.

Great property but with some unfortunate bumpsā€¦

I will start by saying that this property is quite clean, comfortable and for a short term rental, really well-stocked with cooking/kitchen items. However, it would be nice if the hosts kept the basic spices stocked (salt, pepper, tiny bottle of olive oil), but thatā€™s a fairly minor quibble. As for location, fantastic! It was a 10 minute walk to the Village gondola, so that makes a HUGE difference! Now for the negative. Our check-in experience was VERY difficult. We had trouble finding our unit. The information we were provided simply listed a single number. When we arrived (at night, so low visibility) the buildings all had a letter followed by numbers. And none of them were the single digit we were given. So we called Vacasa (the prop mgrs). We were on hold for 30 mins. Meanwhile, Iā€™m texting them too. Pretty sure AI was responding to me, because it had a very sympathetic tone while being utterly unhelpful. Finally spoke to the woman. Who ended up being dismissive and slightly rude. Also very unhelpful. We only found the unit by merely stumbling on it. Note to VACASA: PUT THE ENTIRE NUMBER ON THE INFO!!! The other issue was the door lock code they provided us in that text/email was OFF by one digit! Thankfully, I mistakenly entered the correct code (my mild dyslexia), and only realized the error thru sheer luck! Hey Vacasa: DO BETTER!

Great stay

Wonderful property to stay at. Listing is accurate. Great for small family, two couples or couple friends. The host is very prompt to respond if there are any questions. My boyfriend and I come to mammoth for snowboarding and loved being able to walk to the village or bus stop from this location. The place was very comfortable to stay in and we would definitely stay again.

Walking distance to village gondola for reasonable price

Place was very clean. The thermostats were a little old and inaccurate. Shower water pressure was not great. Otherwise good. 5 min walk to village gondola. No issues parking. Stairs up to 2nd floor were manageable. The road and parking spots were cleared of snow regularly. Plenty of towels. Had to learn how to use pellet stove but it helped to warm up common space. There was a door code to get in, which was very long and difficult to memorize, Hot tub was right across the street - small but warm and lockers/restrooms were open to change.

Fishing was great, got some sizable fish in lake Mary. A couple 3lb fish a 4 plus and a 5 pounder. The condo was comfortable, had a slight problem with downstairs restroom.

This Condo is in a great location! The Village, Gondola, and Mammoth Brewing are all walking distance. We found telhe Condo clean & nicely set up. The balcony was nice for enjoying our morning coffee.

Nice place, bad experience with Vacasa

Condo was nice but stairs were tough. Make sure you don't have anyone that is older or can't walk well. That should have been warned. Also, I called Vacasa about 2hrs before check in time to see if we could enter the condo early. The women that answered the call was extremely rude and told me that I could absolutely not check in before 4pm and that was a strict "Covid protocol" Give me a break with Covid protocol already. She wouldn't even bother to see if someone had stayed there the night before. It would have been nice to unload our gear, instead we had to drive a full SUV around Mammoth for 2hrs and wait. Been staying in Vrbos for many years. This was the worst communication I have ever had.

Great location within quick and easy access to town and lifts. We would have enjoyed our stay more had there been some throw pillows (as pictured) and more kitchen supplies (no potholders, no kitchen towels, and limited cooking utensils). Lots of stairs to climb to get to the unit. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Please correct your records we stayed in a different property. My comments reflect the condo we stayed in which was located at 261 Lakeview # 5. The condo was very cozy, clean and stocked with everything needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute cabin vibes in the best location

Best vacation ever. Hot tub was across from the unit, short little walk. Mammoth Brewing Co was also a short walk! They had nice room to put all the snowboarding gear so it was out of the way. Amazing location, the village was super close as well. The unit was so cute and had everything we needed for a great time. Will definitely be back!
