Cozy Lakefront Cabin in Mammoth Cave, KY

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful Nolin lakefront cabin located in Mammoth Cave, KY. Spend your days exploring the property's 14+ acres, fishing from the dock, boating or kayaking on Lake Nolin or visiting Mammoth Cave. Spend your evenings grilling on the expansive deck, making a campfire, unwinding on the screened wraparound porch, playing a game of pool, or snuggling up by one of the indoor fireplaces.

This well appointed cabin offers two bedrooms on the first floor with a full bathroom, an expansive loft area featuring Amish made twin over full bunk bed with private en-suite bathroom with stand up shower, and in the basement find a second living room, game room and another set of bunkbeds with twin over full beds and a third full bathroom. The back yard and lake access is directly off the back yard. Lower and upper decks with all amenities needed to enjoy the great outdoors including fishing poles, kayaks, fire pit, grill, outdoor dining areas, wraparound deck, enclosed porch, well appointed kitchen, private dock on the lake and more! Dog Creek is just around the corner for easy boat ramp access.

This property has all of the cozy amenities needed for the perfect lake vacation! We hope you love staying here just as much as we do!

Great fun stay!
We had a fantastic time during our stay! This house was perfect to enjoy the lake and Mammoth Cave. We went hiking and did cave tours at Mammoth National Park. Reserve your cave tour ahead of time (online) to ensure you get a spot! They will be sold out if you buy the day you go. We did the Violet City Lantern Cave tour and it was great! The lake and dock area was amazing. We felt we had the lake to ourselves, it was so quiet. We swam in the lake almost everyday. Kids loved it! We fished, as well. The house was so clean and well stocked with games! More games available than is listed. Our teens and younger kids all loved them. We made a fire in the fire pit and had s’mores! When we had a small issue with a toilet, messaged the owner, and it was fixed within an hour. So happy and pleased with our stay!

Friend Reunion
This property is amazing. We had our inaugural friendship reunion here, 3 families with children ranging from 4 - 7. Its an easy drive to Mammoth Cave and Lake Nolin. The property itself was perfect it had everything we needed. We all loved jumping from the dock and swimming, as well as some good fishing! We have already planned to come back to this property in the future!!!

Relax with Family
The house is private but you can see rooftops through the trees. The lake is close and there is a down ward hill to get to the water, not too steep and doable with bad knees. One really cool part of the house is there are multiple places you can escape to for alone time or having a listen to the sounds of nature on the patio, etc. the kitchen had an impressive selection of cookware and dishes. The bed were comfortable. The air conditioning was great and the gas fireplaces were cozy. We enjoyed the lake so much! The outdoor fire pit was a good time also! What a great spot! Thank you so much!

Nice outdoor vacation
My family had a great time at this property. Unfortunately we weren’t able to kayak since the army dams the lake in the winter. While this was unexpected, we made the most of it and walked the dry lake bed quite far and my family was able to find some fishing spots. The cabin was clean and had what we needed. The back deck was a great place to read my book and kids liked the bonfire in the evening. We would stay here again but make sure the lake is there!

A beautiful break from the noise of this world
This house was immaculately clean and just so cozy! Beautiful property, 2 minute walk down to the lake. We loved the kayaks and was so nice to also have fishing poles to use! Our kids loved the pool table and darts! Everything about it was great, and I highly recommend you take advantage of this place!

Perfect home away from home
This home was the absolute perfect home away from home. Everything was well stocked comfy and cozy. The kids loved the recreation room in the basement and kept them entertained during our stay. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the views of the property. This home is perfectly nestled in the woods with a short downhill walk to the lake where we enjoyed paddling in the kayaks and fishing. The beds are super comfortable and home was so clean. We felt right at home. I don’t think I would have done anything differently. While we were visiting we enjoyed cave tours, Kentucky down under and so many other adventures. We were in search of a peaceful family getaway and this hit the mail on the head! Thank you for sharing this home with us. We had a blast!

Spacious cabin, peaceful atmosphere
We had a great time at this spacious cabin with our family! Close to Mammoth Cave and right on the lake. Perfect place to get away from it all and disconnect. Kids loved the game room and walking to the dock. Visited Mammoth Cave & Nolin Lake.
