"What a view!! This room has no air conditioning but would definitely go back. I don't like cold air blasting, so it was not inconvenient for me. "The reviews on this place were exactly what we experienced. The owner or manager that we met was really nice and accommodating. The unit itself was amazingly clean and comfortable. The place looks brand new! Also, ate at the restaurant beside the unit and jt was wonderful! 5 stars all the way - no criticisms at all. We will return!!"
"We had a lovely time at Höhengasthaus Kolmenhof. The location is beautiful with lots of nice hiking paths around the property. There was as indoor and an outdoor playground for the kids which were great!!! The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for a family of 2 adults plus 2 small children and nicely decorated. The only down side is that the restaurant closes for 2 nights a week so one must organize an alternative on these days...

"This is a superb place to stay, especially with a dog. I traveled with a well-behaved 20 lb terrier, and the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful in the shower, and most of all, the grounds and proximity to hiking trails made it worthwhile. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was outstanding. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
