"Bring your groceries and leave your worries behind. This out-of-the-way vacation cottage is a great place to settle in and watch the waves. We spotted seals, eagles and fishing boats gliding past. The road onto the island, with it's twists, turns and one-lane bridge, adds to the charm. The property provides a sense of isolation but neighbours are nearby if needed. "Our group of four just stayed for a week in August and had an incredible time at this property! We found everything to be true to the listing if not better, and the stunning views from multiple directions made our stay even more memorable. We were able to explore a great deal of the surrounding areas thanks to the central location, with short hops to nearby Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, Chester, and of course Halifax and other great destinations. Highly recommended!"
