"Wifi did not work and this is not acceptable. Seems a typhoon came through a few weeks ago and broke the server. Everywhere else on the island seemed fine. If there is a wifi problem it needs to be clearly stated when booking. I would have gone elsewhere because cannot unfortunately be disconnected for three days. Spent almost 200 euro on roaming the three days. Local contact said would do his best but no luck. Communication complicated too with local contact as network not working, payment was...

"This lovely place is a piece of Magnetic Island's history, apparently a former recreational facility for soldiers. Unit 6 is a light-filled unit with steep stairs on either side, ceiling fans in every room, a very minimal, older kitchen and amazing views of the national park, generous courtyard and gorgeous pool. Luxury it isn't, but it is such a lovely space, I would stay there again in a heartbeat."

"A very peaceful setting in the back streets of Arcadia. Older style unit that has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Ten minute walk to beautiful Alma Bay and Arcadia Village pub that has good value meals."

"We had a lovely Family Xmas on Magnetic Island - the house was the perfect layout with plenty of room for everyone- we hosted Xmas lunch for 10 so the large kitchen made entertaining easy. Great Family holiday home!!"

"The unit was a good size and well presented but needed some drawers or shelves. We enjoyed many good walks. Cleaning staff were very pleasant and the office staff very helpful. Perhaps some screening vegetation (not too tall) out the front would provide a bit of privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you."
