It is hard not to fall in love with such a place, just as it is hard to forget once you have discovered it. Villa Monte Argentario is much more than a place devoted to hospitality, a welcoming address that makes you dream and travel even more with your mind. Villa Monte Argentario is an ecosystem of wellness, design, history and charm that is not easy to dismiss in a few words. It can well be defined as a cocoon of experiences that all start from the concept of pleasure, a hedonistic reality that feeds unforced on the beauty, tradition and history of the place where it is located, Tuscany and specifically the Maremma area. Starting from its name, in fact, the homage is all to this land and to the Argentario coast that this estate dominates from above, being located on its wild hills. Villa Monte Argentario is uncontaminated nature, expanses of olive groves and vineyards, it is a sustainable eco-farm and a design retreat that connects with the concepts of territory and redesigns those of exclusivity by combining the heritage of the past, contemporary art and typical Italian craftsmanship.
It is a place that makes the concept of the sacred its own, exploring and paying homage to it without ever distorting it or filling it with meanings not its own. In fact, Villa Monte Argentario was built on the remains of a 12th-century monastery, a medieval convent steeped in history and perfectly set in its surroundings. A Roman stone castle, formerly the site of monastic prayers, which still today reconnects with the concept of peace and retreat from the world in a completely new way.
Villa Monte Argentario is an estate boasting six suites, each designed to provide rest and peace of mind. It can accommodate up to 14 guests. An experience of design, style and comfort designed in a sustainable manner and to reduce environmental impact. Air circulation systems naturally cool the temperature during summer nights, underfloor heating, and traditional large fireplaces built of stone, brick and iron warm the coldest evenings. Each suite has private balconies and terraces with breathtaking views of the roof of each tower and the expanses of fields surrounding Villa Monte Argentario.

The entrance of the main house takes one into the indoor dining area, whose wood-covered walls and white-painted vaulted ceilings give one the slight sensation of having boarded a luxurious boat. This feeling is confirmed as one heads into the long well-equipped kitchen with its banks of windows, high ceilings and large range cooker.
The dining room also flows into the voluminous living area, which has two separate sitting areas, one gathered round a fireplace, the other a built-in sofa following the contour of one of the room's corners. Numerous windows bring in the light and the sea views, white-painted brick walls give way to an impressive wood-beamed ceiling, and doors lead out on to the wrap-around, shady decked terrace.
Off the left of the living room is a small bedroom with bunk beds, en-suite shower room and access to the surrounding terrace. Next to this bedroom, a spiral staircase takes one down to the lower floor, which is home to the main sleeping quarters of the main house:
