"Family getaway, took grandkids to SantaLand and Oconaluftee Visitor Center & Farm, Mingus Grist Mill and ate lots of great food! Wonderful burgers, wings & onion rings at Brickhouse Pizza & Wings and Carvers Maggie Valley restaurant had delicious fried chicken and fried trout. "First, the room was exceptionally clean, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. My only issues were that the room and areas around the outside of the hotel are in need of some refurbishment. Cabinets, doors, carpet, the parking and breezeway area all show plenty of wear.
