Charming luxury apartment in the heart of the historic district, Plaza Mayor

Bright luxury apartment with three balconies for up to four people located in the heart of the historical distric of the Austrias (Plaza Mayor).

It is a property of 77 m² (828. 47 ft²) with ceilings 3.70 m (12 ft) high decorated with the utmost care and fully equipped to guarantee the best accommodation experience. Air conditioning through all the property.

The property was selected by the prestigious magazine AD Arquitectural Digest (Spanish edition) for a web article about it's impeccably original style published on 2nd August 2017.

The property is perfect for couples, friends, business trips and families with kids above 12 years old.

The apartment is on the third floor (serviced by an elevator) of a historic building of 1850 which has been completely restored recently.

It has a large living room with two balconies, sofa, fireplace; dining table up to six people, coffee table; Smart TV with Netflix and Satellite TV. Independent Air Conditioning System Cold / Heat

The first bedroom has a balcony, Pc working area, ceiling fan, independent Air Conditioning Systeme Cold / Heat; Smart TV (Satellite and Netflix) and a complete ensuite bathroom;

 Second bedroom is a very cozy interior room with Smart TV (Satellite and Netflix) and ceiling fan and Independent Air Conditioning Systeme Cold / Heat

The property features another bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchen
 

The first bedroom has twin beds 0.9 m x 1.80 m
The second bedroom has a double bed (1.40 m x 1.80 m)


Minimum stay is three nights. Special dates may request a different minimum stay.

The owners live in the very same building in a different apartment therefore you will enjoy your stay with all the privacy but we will be close just in case you need any help.
One of us works in the Tourism industry so we are really willing to help you with your plans around the city.

The apartment is very well located in the middle of the main attractions in town. Plaza Mayor and Mercado de San Miguel are just some steps away. On a walking distance you can reach Puerta del Sol (5 min.), Opera Square (5 min.), The Royal Palace and the Cathedral of La Almudena are just at a 10 minute walk. The popular gastronomic market of San Miguel is at a stone's throw away.

The pulsating neighborhood of La Latina and it's famous flea market of Sundays is only at a 10 minute walk from the property.
Prado Museum and Thyssen Bornemizsa Museum are at a 20 minute walk.

Best apartment we’ve ever had
This beautiful apartment is in the most convenient neighborhood, seemingly no more than 20 minutes’ walk to anywhere and often even less. But more than comfort and location, the owners provide super attentive service and offer coffee, beverages, and snacks. We wish we could have stayed even longer!

Gem on Plaza Mayor!
This property is a gem!- Great location right off Plaza Mayor with easy walking access in central Madrid and minutes from Madrid metro and train station, right around the corner from the Royal Palace, Mercado San Miguel, and others.- Gorgeous apartment with all the required amenities.- Fourth floor (high enough to avoid most street noise) with an elevator.- Miguel and Adriano are perfect hosts, very thoughtful and kind. Communication was thorough and easy, well before we arrived and during our stay. They even provided snacks, fruit, coffee/tea, and adult beverages for our stay (the wine was excellent!). - Our new favorite place to stay is Madrid, and we will be sure to return.- Absolutely on point, cannot think of any suggestions.

Special Place in the heart of Plaza Mayor
This is a well located beautiful apartment. Just steps away from El Mercado San Miguel, and Plaza Mayor. The host received us at check in, as well as provided nice amenities and information about restaurants and must see places in Madrid. Highly recommended! Wonderful Apartment
Safe and beautiful. Modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. The hosts provide nice amenities such as coffee and supplies in the refrigerator. Everything you need for a great stay. Perfect for two couples or a couple with children. Location is perfect for touring Madrid. We will return!

Great stay again!
This is our second time staying here. We stayed about a week. Located right next to Plaza Mayor, it is also walking distance to Sol and the Royal Palace. Clean and spacious apartment with a clothes washer and small kitchen. Highly recommend!

The Spectacular Apartment Stay
This lavish apartment offered by Adrian and Miguel through Vrbo was the perfect place for us during our stay in Madrid at the end of September. Not only was the decor a centerpiece of artful achievement, but the location of this apartment just steps outside one of the archways off the Plaza Mayor is a perfect place to explore all the wonderful historical areas of old Madrid. The metro is close enough to bring all of Madrid within one's reach. In the apartment Adrian and Miguel have provided well organized literature on all the area places and "cercanias" (historic cities reached in an hour or two), and Ramon who was sent to show us around the apartment and answer any questions gave us many invaluable ideas about the places we might see and where we could look up more information in the literature. We totally enjoyed this well maintained 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment where the kitchen and beautiful dining room gave opportunity to cook and enjoy some meals, the living room with balconies could be open to the atmosphere of life in Madrid or just relaxation and conversation. We really loved this apartment we shared with a dear friend.

Beautiful apartment in convenient location
This charming apartment is exactly as presented online. It is beautifully decorated with art and architectural features that reflect the Spanish culture. The location is perfect. Shops, restaurants, and many key sites are within easy walking distance. We especially enjoyed the big fluffy towels, comfortable beds, and cleanliness of the rooms. During the day we opened the large balcony doors to let the rooms fill with natural light. Some mornings we enjoyed coffee on the balcony as we watched the city wake up. The communication with our hosts, both before our arrival and during our stay, was first-rate. They knew how to make travelers feel welcomed and at home. We have stayed in many short term rentals and this elegant residence ranks at the very top.

Die perfekte Location in Madrid
Der Aufenthalt im Appartement von Miguel und Adrian hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Das Appartement ist sehr gut ausgestattet, mit allem was man braucht. Die Einrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail erfolgt. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Lage kann besser nicht sein. Drinnen absolute Ruhe und draußen ist man sofort im Madrider Trubel. Einkaufen, Metro und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind auf kurzen Wegen sehr gut zu erreichen. Miguel und Adrian kümmern sich um alle Anfragen umgehend und geben gerne Tipps, Auch die Anfahrtsbeschreibung und der Check in ist von den beiden perfekt und bis ins Detail organisiert. Gracias Miguel y Adrian por esta gran experiencia. ¡Nos encantaría volver!

A gem!
Hands down the best apartment stay we have ever had (US and abroad). The flat is a few doors down from the Plaza Mayor. 3 sets of doors that open onto little balconies, one where you can have your coffee and watch the city wake up. Small kitchen is very well thought-out and easy to navigate. Biscuits, wine, etc on the table. Cold beer in the fridge. Beautifully decorated. They would check in regularly to see if we needed anything (we didn't). The owners have put so much love into this place and it shows. Anyone would be lucky to stay here.

Beautiful Apartment in Fantastic Location
We were so impressed with our stay here. The apartment was thoughtfully prepared and the layout of two bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for our stay. The kitchen also had everything we needed to make dinner and drinks. The location is perfect, close to everything we wanted to see. We cannot wait until our next trip to Madrid so we can stay here again!

Amazing host and place
Right in the center of action - on the plaza mayor. We could walk to almost everything. Food, monuments, historical buildings. And the apartment was very artsy and a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. And the thoughtfulness of the host was incredible. We would recommend this highly if you want to spend time in Madrid.

A wonderful and comfortable stay - first time in Madrid
My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay very much! The apartment was clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated and we felt at home. Location was awesome. We were able to walk everywhere like Royal palace, Prado museum, etc. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us detailed explanations. When we first got there, we were given a tour of the apartment. The fridge was stocked with drinks and they had a tray of teas & biscuits. They even gifted us a bottle of wine and box of candy. We loved the apartment and would stay there again and would recommend.

Wonderful stay
Apartment is lovely. More importantly, Adrian and Miguel go above and beyond to add special touches and help you. We couldn’t get online tickets to Toledo so Miguel helped on the phone so we knew the train was sold out. A taxi and bus it was! Coffee, wine, beer, cookies, fruit given to us to make the trip easier. Baths have everything you need. They’ve thought of it all. Location convenient to everything. The tiny elevator was fun. Perfect for 3 of us. Would be fine for 4 adults but more than that would be tight.

The apartments is in an amazing location and has all of the accommodations and more a family could want or need. Madrid is light up for Christmas and the apartment is in the center of the excitement! Wonderful apartment in heart of Madrid
We spent a weekend in Madrid and loved the location of this apartment. It was so easy to walk to nearby sites and restaurants. Miguel was a great host, greeting us upon arrival and sharing a lot of information to make our stay easier. He had also provided information earlier on train travel from Malaga, how to reach the apartment, and sites to visit in Madrid. The apartment met all of our needs, was modern and clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Wonderful hosts. Attentive and helpful! Apartment was very comfortable with wonderful decor. Comfortable beds and great showers. One small noise issue from another apartment was handled immediately. Great Place to Stay in Madrid!
A wonderful place to spend our Madrid holiday! The hosts were very thoughtful and welcoming and gave us advice for scenic walks and food suggestions. The apartment was very well stocked and meticulously clean. The location of the apartment is ideal and is close to most sites (or a metro stop away). We very much enjoyed our stay here and will hope to return at some time in the future!
