"Myself and squad of my friends were lucky enough to stay at this residence ovee Veteran's day weekend. We all served together in Afghanistan with the 173rd airborne brigade 1/503rd light infantry in 2009-2010 and 2011-2012. We like to get together every year and catch up- often playing all day grand strategy board games- such as Twilight Imperium. There were 8 of us and we all stayed comfortable and bedded down well! "Watch sunrise each day, follow critter tracks on the beach, breathe in the pine aroma and relax. Top tip: the electric heater has a remote—no one has to get out of bed to turn it on in the morning! Neat and tidy with the essentials. We loved it."

"Tucked away among trees, there was ample opportunity to hike in wooded trails. Not too far from Bayfield itself, and close to Frog Bay Tribal Park as well. Especially appreciated the large screened porch in the back!"

"Island Fox was a nice home to stay on the island and had everything we needed and was conveniently located. The screened in porch was comfortable to sit and read without the bugs. We even saw a bear! The check in process ended up being very easy however I didn’t get communication on it in advance and no response when I messaged and called on our drive up. "The real issue was that we were unprepared because the listing was misleading. There were no firepits - listing indicated there were 2. Grill was charcoal and the store on the island charged $20! There were no beach towels - only 4 big towels for showering that needed to double as beach towels. No pizza cutter but decorative seashell butter spreaders - seems odd. No extra paper towels. Listing made it seem that there was a master bathroom - nope. There was one main bathroom and a VERY small...
