"I am a 65 YO woman and I stayed at this cottage by myself the week of 10/22/24. I am pleased to give a 5-star rating because: this cottage was easy to find and located in a pleasant, quiet area. I felt safe in this cottage; it was very clean; bed slept wonderful; water pressure and temp were great; cottage looks exactly like pictures; everything worked as expected, and my communications with the property manager were easy. This area is wonderful if you want peace and quiet, close to the lake...

"Stayed at this location for Centre College Homecoming. Conveniently located in walking distance to campus and downtown. Tons of parking and very cute apartment. Good space to all hang out together in the large living room. Bed was very comfortable, but the futons were a bit stiff to sleep on. Would stay again for a future Danville event! "

"The instructions were perfect!! The view was amazing!! The place was clean and well stocked so if you forgot something, it’s probably there. Whoever this property is really cares about your stay. Loved the local channels with the antenna. Lots of DVD movies to choose from. I can’t wait to book my next trip. "

"Nice, quiet place to decompress during a long weekend. It was in close proximity to the bourbon trail, so that was an added bonus. The pups had a blast too."

"The accommodation is well equipped and extremely clean. The property is beautiful and lends itself to a relaxing getaway. To top it all off the hosts were very welcoming and communicative. If you are looking for an idyllic place to stay in the area, you've found the right listing."

"Nicely renovated older home with lots of character and charm with plenty of room to easily accommodated 6 friends on a bourbon trail excursion. Location was centrally located for the distilleries on our tour list. We particularly enjoyed the Woodford room to hang out as a group! "

"We loved our time at this Kentucky Riverside Retreat! Space was comfortable and spaceous, clean, and well maintained. Just an FYI for others, the dock is about 5 feet above the water surface. It did not make it easy to launch kayaks as there was not flat ground. Not sure if the water level was lower than normal, but you may want to bring a ladder or some mechanism to get into the water. Thanks for the great stay!"

"Came for a Family Wedding. Stayed from a Friday to Sunday. Danville KY was about 30 Minutes away. It's the closest city, enjoyed the shopping area. Had a Bk, McDonald's, Cracker Barrel and a Pizza/Italian Buffet called Giovanni's very good. Has a Walmart and Ollie's. Good location to check out for shopping. House was Beautiful inside, nice setup upstairs and downstairs. Hopefully Host got toilet downstairs in full working condition so you can have full use of toilet & tub. All in all we had a...

"The location was perfect for the Bourban Trail; we made it to 5 distilleries in 2 days! Beds were comfy, hot tub is great and it was very clean. We appreciated the extra blankets, pillows and soft sheets. The area is beautiful and it’s an easy walk to the lake. We only wished for a few more kitchen utensils and dishcloths and towels. We did a bit of cooking and all like to tidy up. Overall we would all stay here again but for much longer."

"This was our second time staying at KenTex Farms. The house is spacious and nicely decorated. The star of the experience is the outside space, featuring acres of land and feeders that attract deer, turkeys and others. The location is convenient to visit distilleries. Most of the distilleries near Lexington and Frankfort are within 30 minutes. Those down near Bardstown and in Louisville are closer to 45 minutes, but if you plan visits geographically you can see everything in one area each...

"This house is clean and well located. It is not fancy, but it is lots of fun! We came with another couple for the bourbon trail and to see the horses. At the end of each day, instead of watching TV, we took advantage of the wonderful selection of games. We played darts, cards, and chess. It made a great trip even better. "

"My husband and I throughly enjoyed our trip and stay at the cabin. We immersed ourselves into the history of the area and appreciated everything this cabin has seen and been through. Judi was an amazing host, she had snacks ready for when you arrived and the place was very clean and welcoming! Thank you Judi for your hospitality and your quickness with responses. "

"Our original room was a king size bed room which was very nice. TV was not working. They ended up moving us to a room with two beds. Still a nice room but the room with the king size bed is a little nicer. However, the front desk was very helpful and made changes quickly. The hotel is well kept and very nice. "
