We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"We had a very lovely stay at ARD VIEW with Ann being an extremely generous host! The 180 degree view over the bay is stunning and we enjoyed it at all variations of weather that we had in one week. "Clifden is a lovely little town. The place was much bigger than expected and we all had plenty of space to stretch out. We did have a snafu with one of the internets, but it was explained that the place downstairs is remodeling and likely cut the line. The other WiFi worked great! Shower pressure was a little light, but nothing that was terrible. Overall, we would definitely rent this place again and stay for much longer next time in Clifden!!"

"Perfect cottage for our five day stay. Everything we needed was available. It was spacious and comfortable. Janet, The host was lovely. We also loved the location. Short walk to Galway Bay and short drive to the ferry to get to Inis Mor. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend this cottage if Western Ireland is your destination. "

The local area has some fantastic scenery and is almost a step back in time. The local Pub restaurant has a great atmosphere ,and the food and beer were marvellous! "

"The cottage was as expected. It was quaint and quiet. The scenery was beautiful. Mike met us at the property and went through everything we needed to know. He followed up later to make sure we didn’t need anything. He was quick to return our call when we had a question. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Mary the house keeper/property manager does a great job of keeping it clean and tidy but there are serious things that need addressing in order to maintain the house: the house has damp - stained peeling wallpaper shows this, as do the mushrooms growing out the beam by the front door.
