"The cabin was amazing; very clean with everything we needed for our brief stay. A great re-model by the owners. Close to the Sipsey Wilderness/Bankhead National Forest where we enjoyed hiking. "First off, Sarah was a phenomenal hostess. It’s great when you have any host that cares. She definitely wanted to ensure her guests were comfortable. Second, the house was nice a cozy. The master bed was very comfortable. Some window treatments in the two guest bedrooms would be great to ward off morning sun, but the kids didn’t mind. You’ll be with kayaking distance of Duncan Bridge but nestled in a nice little cover with plenty of water toys. Highly recommend for a convenient getaway!!"

"The house and property is really comfortable and functional. The screened-in porch, decks and floating dock are true highlights.Note however, that the driveway and walkway are on a steep incline. It was tricky to pull in and out of with a boat/trailer. The only level spot is up at the road, but I parked the empty trailer on the driveway loop for security. "We will be back! This lake house was the perfect setup. We had 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 1-6). The house was in a great swimming location, was close to a marina for boat rental, was off the beaten path and chaos of the main lake, but still close enough for a quick DG run. "The house was immaculately clean. Great for large groups. The location on the lake is great because there's minimal stairs and hardly any boat or jet ski traffic because we are in a cove.
