It was a very scenic ride on the way there and once we reached Vermont we just took it all in, all the beautiful sights of nature at its best. Once we arrived at the house, it was just as described. "We were there for just one night. It was such a quiet, relaxing afternoon and evening. We had driven most of the morning and it was a nice de-stressed! The river was beautiful. The yard was mowed and we sat in the chairs that were provided and watched the sun set behind the trees. "

"Beautiful, peaceful property on pond, quiet and clean! Art in the home is fun and eclectic. We are so Thankful this property allows dogs without a weight restriction. This helped us include our dogs without the worry of leaving the dogs at an expensive dog boarding place. We had so much fun hiking, running and walks, with strolls around local attractions and leaf peeping; all with the dogs ! Cabot is a nice town and the property is located within 1-2 hours of major attractions such as Montpelier...

"This is the second year in a row that we've stayed at Steve's place (and we plan to stay again next year!). The house is super cozy, you feel right at home when you walk in. We loved having access to the hot tub, it came in handy after two long days of skiing (great location for all of the ski bums out there). Even with a large group, everyone was able to spread out and have their own space. We absolutely love it here!"

"It was a perfect getaway for a weekend. Within walking distance to Mt. Pisgah and its own dock access for Lake Willoughby. Couldn't have asked for more. I was actually surprised how well the kitchen worked. Only downside was thr shower was a bit small for a 6 ft guy."

"We had a fabulous weekend here to celebrate a family birthday. The place was comfortable, spacious and clean, the views are better than the pictures, and it was the perfect spot for our family including two toddlers, a baby, and a couple of dogs! "From the fresh cut flowers on the back porch to the wonderful homey ambience inside, this place is truly a home away from home. Beautiful scenery outdoors, and comfy and cozy inside. The front deck was beautifully decorated with fall mums, and inside various plants, basking in the sun make this cabin come alive.
