Stylish shepherd's hut, 10 mins walk from beach and village

Enjoy a relaxing stay in our Shepherd's Hut, 'The Coop'. The luxury hut is located a short walk from the beach and the village of Milford on Sea. This seaside village is known for its many great restaurants and pubs and in the current situation many of them offer fantastic takeaway options that can be enjoyed back at the hut, on the village green or at the beach.

This seaside village also has an extensive beachfront, which is great for swimming, paddle boarding and kite surfing. The hut is a fantastic base to explore the village, the nearby market town of Lymington and the beauty of the New Forest. It is also approximately 15 miles from Bournemouth and Southampton.

You can also enjoy many walks starting directly from the steps of the hut, including Milford's very own 27 hectares of Woodlands known as The Pleasure Grounds and Keyhaven Marshes Nature Reserve.

The hut boasts a kingsize double bed, kitchen, dining area, seating and separate bathroom with shower, everything you need for an enjoyable stay. A welcome package is included for your stay.

The outside space has a small table and chairs for you to enjoy dining outside and two lounge chairs to soak up the afternoon sun.

Free Parking is available for one car, located right outside the Shepherd's Hut, giving you easy access to unload your belongings.

Very well designed little hut in a great location
We stayed at the hut for four nights and found it beautifully designed, and to our surprise quite spacious compared to huts we've stayed in before. There is plenty of space for two people to sit around and relax and a very adequate kitchen (we only used the microwave, but there is a double hob and cooking utensils provided). The bed is 'cabin style' and very comfortable, with some storage space at one end which is quite convenient so your bits and bobs don't fill up the dining/kitchen area. The location is lovely, not in a busy area but with easy access by foot to the seafront and all the amenities in the village. Parking is right by the Coop front door so getting settled is very easy, and there was a thoughtful welcome hamper containing some local produce, as well as tea and coffee and milk being available on arrival. A very cozy place in a lovely area!

Great little shepherds hut
The Coop is well fitted out with everything you need for a week away. Beware no TV. It’s in a great location within walking distance if Milford on Sea and the beach as well as a great location to visit other places too. The only minor downside is the hut is close to the road so we experienced some road noise in the morning but we got used to it.

Lovely Stay
The Coop is very clean, well equipped and everything is of high standard. It was perfect for a few quality days spent for just Grandma and Grandson. The only slight negative was the evenings offered no comfy lounge seat for me to sit while my grandson slept. I ended up bringing in an outside chair which had cushions, which worked fine. Easy walk to the village and pond, and lovely walk to Hurst Castle and lighthouse, which is a must see. My seven year old grandson loved the whole experience. Highly recommend.

Exceeded Expectations
The Coop was a lovely place to stay for a few days holiday offering everything needed for a relaxing time. Milford on Sea was within walking distance ( taking about 10 mins) providing a range of shops, restaurant and bars. Would highly recommend.

The property was just as described. The bed was so comfortable. And the village was so friendly and had everything we needed. Lovely walks we had a great time. Lovely property and perfect location
I stayed with my young dog for three nights whilst visiting family in Milford. The Coop was perfect for me and the dog. The finish of the Coop is high spec, and Rachel as a host was superb. Quick responses to questions and a lovely welcome breakfast basket on arrival. If your looking for a base for the New Forest, and to explore the area, this Coop is ideal. Will definitely stay again. Ideal accomodation and location for a couple
A quaint Shepherd's Hut accommodation for any couple. Located in a lovely quiet private position, ideal for visiting the beautiful local and wider surrounding area. The hut is very clean and in excellent condition and very functional as well as comfortable for most needs. The host provided us with a lovely quality starter pack, providing all the essentials to save any chasing around at the very start of the holiday. We enjoyed a few days stay here and hope to return again for some more quality holiday time. We thoroughly recommend staying at this novel accommodation and thank you to the owner for providing the opportunity.

Beautiful well equipped and perfect location.
The coop is a comfortable shepherd’s hut nestled in a quiet area. Perfect location, the hut has everything you need for a few days away. Very comfy bed and generous welcome breakfast basket. Perfect location
This property was perfect for our long weekend away with our four legged friend. Wonderfully clean and cosy and great to have a breakfast hamper on arrival. The location suited us perfectly, wonderful walks from the doorstep of the coop. Easy walking distance of the beach too. A long weekend
Stayed here for my wife’s birthday weekend, and what a lovely weekend it was. The ccop is beautifully clean and a great spec, couldn’t fault it and will definitely be visiting again. If there could be one improvement, a hot tub?? Mike and Tina from Birmingham.

My wife and I were very impressed with the hut, the spec was finished to a high standard. We both had a very relaxing break, the bed is really comfy, slept so so well. The location is ideal, a short walk into Milford where there are some great eateries and pubs. I recommend staying here and will definitely return again in the future

The hut was very well presented with everything very tidy and a little hamper for us. The hut is in such a wonderful location only a short walk from the beach where we spent most of our stay! Would recommend!!
