Super comfortable stay.

Great stay in Mahone Bay!
Lovely stay at Pam’s beautiful place. Steps to all the attractions in Mahone Bay and a short drive to many scenic spots along the South Shore. Very clean place with everything you need. Stunning decor and comfy, feels like home!

Just a lovely property!
Such a cute suite! This property was perfect for my stay in Mahone Bay. Clean, had everything I needed, and was greeted to a phone call by the owner to ensure I had all I needed for my stay. 10 stars, would definitely recommend to others.

Nice property, but…
Well appointed unit in a good location. Unit was very clean, kitchen was well equipped and trendy furnishings. Unit is small and the utility of the unit is complicated by too many furnishings and nick knacks. While numerous pillows on the bed are attractive and trendy,, finding a convenient place to store them when utilizing the bed is problematic. Decluttering the unit would help. While the unit is located in a great location, neighborhood and quarters are tight. Two noisy dogs across the street and another next door, in what appeared to be permanent residences, were not conducive to a tranquil environment . Parking is problematic. There are three units, and while 3 cars can be parked, it is very tight and difficult to maneuver. A real problem, especially the first night we stayed, when 2 of the 3 vehicles were pickups. Not conducive to a stress free stay. As noted in the title, nice property, but the above issues may be problematic to some guests,

Lovely Mahone Bay Hideaway
We wanted to see Nova Scotia for the first time and enjoy a much needed rest at the same time. Pam and Dave's Hideaway fit the bill beautifully. We enjoyed two peaceful rejuvenating weeks in this cozy retreat, close to the ocean, lovely beaches, great food and dining, and great sights. The Hideaway is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, quiet, and very comfortable, Should you be looking for a perfect place to stay in beautiful Nova Scotia, you can't do better than the Hideaway!

Mahone Bay Gem
The cottage is located within walking distance to the village of Mahone Bay. The cottage is sparkly clean and stocked with everything you might need. While we were there, Nova Scotia experienced an unexpected heat wave. The A/C worked beautifully. We highly recommend this property!

Great stay!
This property was very clean, fully equipped for cooking, and quiet. The location was close to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Lunenburg and the quaint town of Chester which were interesting to visit. We were pleased with our stay.

Amazing Stay, Amazing Host
This is one of the best, if not the best, places we have stayed. The cottage has everything, including a private patio for outdoor dining. The host has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. An easy walk to the downtown area and eateries and shops. Definitely have coffee at the Barn. Cannot recommend this cottage enough. Thank you. 😊

Cute cottage in the heart of town
This cottage was an ideal location to visit Mahone Bay and nearby Lunenburg as well as a center point for more wide distance exploring including Peggy’s Cove, Yarmouth, and Digby. The cottage has everything you need and is just the right size for 2 people. Enough storage for personal effects. I would definitely come back to The Hideaway for any future trips to Nova Scotia! Pam and David are great hosts and make sure you have everything you need!

Sweet little cottage - perfect for a romantic getaway
We would definitely choose this place again if we stay in Mahone Bay again. It was very clean, well kept and adorable. Kitchen was fully functional. Small, but perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway, or a couple with a small child. My only slightly negative comment is that the bed is a queen, not a king, and the listing does not specify the size of bed. But that's just a very minor point and I would still stay here again.

Perfect cottage getaway
This was a beautifully decorated cottage with more than everything you need or want for a great couples getaway. You could walk to the Main Street of town or drive to numerous other towns nearby in about 10 to 20 minutes. We loved it.

Great location and Everything you need
We just got back from our road trip to the Maritimes and wanted to thank Pam for a lovely stay at her cottage getaway. Her cottage was exceptionally clean, comfortable and in a great location. The kitchen was a great size and lots of glassware and dishes. Parking was great just at the end of the lane, and there was lots of brochure's for idea's to go out exploring the area. Thanks again Pam !

Our stay at Mahone Bay Hide-Away was simply the best! A private hide-away in Mahone Bay with all the amenities to make you feel right at home. 5-star rating for decorating and quality of finishes. Felt at home from the minute we walked in. Would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the heart of Mahone Bay.

Cute cottage
Pam provides a cute one bed studio cottage. Everything is super clean and very well appointed. Enjoyed the deck/porch. Short walk into town ( just be aware that it is on a hill which may be problem for some--it worked out fine for us). Easy drive to Lunenburg-wish we had more time to spend there. Also worth the trip to Blue Rocks for gazing at the ocean landscape. Ate excellent dinner at Seaside Shanty in Chester Basin-great view. Thanks, Pam, for sharing your cottage.
