"The property was very nice. It is secluded, more so than the listing shows. But that was fine with us. Our only issues were that the entrance to the property was not marked, and it was difficult to find, and the choice of bedding for the beds in the loft could have been better. Als, the drive way/parking area at the property is not well defined/designated. The fishing was very good, and that was a bonus because our whole family are avid fisherman. We did thoroughly enjoy our trip however and...

"With limited hotels, we found this VRBO a great experience. Such a lovely decorated home, and all my family was accommodated for a wedding we were in town for with 15 mins to the Venue. So many rooms and space, wifi, and just all around good experience. "

"Overall, this place fit all of our needs. Plenty of sleeping accommodations for our tennis team. The location could not have been better to get to the Mobile Tennis Center."

"Beds were comfortable, plenty of room, nice neighborhood, convenient to University of South Alabama. Most everything we needed was provided. Swimming pool was an added plus. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Not very clean. The vacuum didn't work. The laundry was in washer and dryer when we got there. The cleaners were just leaving when we got there to check in. Location was ok. Wasn't the owners fault, but neighbors put on roof at 6 a.m and blared their music. The houses are super close to each other. If you have high standards for cleanliness this is not the house. And a bit outdated."

"We really enjoyed out stay at Scarlet Cabin! It was so quiet and peaceful. We did have a little confusion checking in but we called April and she took care of us. The weather didn't cooperate so we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities but maybe our next visit! We will definitely love to come back!"

"The location was perfect! The house worked great for our families! We had plenty of room. Our group was 15 people (8 adults, 7 children), our stay was 5 days. There was a few issues during our stay: The main complaint was we had no control over heating/cooling. Our stay was mid July, the house temp was between 74°-77° with 60-80% humidity (according to thermostat) the thermostat was set between 70°- 74° was set at different temps throughout the day. "Clean, well-furnished, excellent location. The back sliding glass door didn’t lock. Even with the wood stopper it felt a little unsafe. "

"The key was supposed to be left under the mat, the key wasn't there but the door was unlocked and the key was on the table inside. Quite scary walking into a house at night with no lights on. The house itself needs a lot of work and could use a good cleaning floor to ceiling. Besides the house not being in good shape and dirty there were roaches in the kitchen and bathrooms. The only good thing I can say was the AC was cold and the water was hot, cannot say I would stay there again."

"This was an excellent choice for our late summer getaway. The cabin & property were just as described and our 2-night stay was serene and relaxing. We had a question about the wi-fi code, but one call to April was all it took. She solved the problem quickly and courteously. We enjoyed fishing one afternoon and tubing the next. What a delight!"

"This was a return to a hotel I've stayed at before. The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom toilet wobbled an the sink faucet when used water leaked out the base, but they are still working on updates and I would stay here again. My service dog was welcomed and had a place to explore when needed."
