Your holiday apartment is in the Engelsgrube, which is characterised by many of the famous narrow alleyways of Lübeck and whose name does not come from angels (Engel) living here, but from the English ships that docked at the bottom end of the alley in the Middle Ages. There are plenty of payable public parking spaces near the house. As you are at the heart of the Hanseatic town, there are restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as shopping facilities within a radius of up to 500 metres awaiting your visit. Many museums, facades and buildings are witnesses to the historical significance of the town back to medieval times. There are also recreational activities and unique nature reserves in the area, to complete your leisurely and relaxing holiday.
The maisonette apartment provides ample space for four people and is characterised by comfortable furnishing for a pleasant stay, like a home away from home. The lower level comprises a big living room with a fully-equipped open kitchen to the front with a dining table, while the rear part is a cosy lounge corner. A spiral staircase leads from this room up to the attic with two separate single beds (90 x 200cm) for a third and fourth guest. The shower room is on the way to the spacious bedroom, which is furnished with a generous double bed (180 x 200cm) and two reading lamps, so you can read a good book before going to bed, or watch television as there is a wall-mounted flatscreen TV with DVBT channels and a DVD player. The bedroom window looks out over the interior courtyard. You can relax together on the sofa and two comfortable armchairs in the living room after a day trip. You go past the dining table with four chairs to the little cooking space that enables comprehensive self-catering with a dishwasher, a four-zone ceramic hob with an oven, a fridge and small electrical appliances such as a microwave, a coffee machine, a toaster and a kettle. The bathroom has a washbasin with an illuminatedmirror, a WC and a shower cubicle. Free wireless Internet access is available. All the rooms have radiators for heating.
