"We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. "

"We had an absolutely brilliant time, staying at Dale and Nina’s. Really liked the decor of the house and the location is perfect. "This tasteful and well appointed chalet with great facilities is very close to the seafront, which you reach through a nice back garden. Swimming here was great as the shelf is quite steep so you get a good amount of time either side of high tide. The place itself is a pleasure to stay in and we can't wait to come again."

"Such a beautiful stay at the Staycation Maldon. Very nice location at the heart of the high trees. The suite was very beautifully decorated for Christmas and this really made it very special. Spacious rooms with kitchen made it super convenient and comfortable. Aircon/Heating unit in every room was super required due to the cold weather. My wife and I loved it and for sure will be back again 100% recommend!"

"Feathers Shepard's hut is a lovely quaint perfect peaceful get away. The hut itself is beautiful and hosted very well with fresh fluffy towels, tea coffee sugar cereals and milk. Also the bedding was lovely.The only reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is because the 'super king size' bed was in fact 2 mattresses put together. Also the fridge was so very small you wouldn't be able to store food for a BBQ in it."

"Nice place to stay for a weekend getaway very nice and clean only issue for me was that in the mornings around 10am there was a lot of noise by cleaning staff and could be heard inside the room also requested an iron to not be given it until the second time when I had to go to reception to ask for it the facilities within the hotel were great "
