"Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. The house itself...

"We just returned from a week's stay at this place. It really is peaceful and relaxing. It was in a perfect location, close to family. Everything we needed was available. Martin and family are wonderful people. We will definitely return again. Thanks for a fantastic holidy."

"This was one of our best vacations. We love to be by ourselves. The Rv is on its own big property connected to a wonderful beach. With two bedrooms, two bads, kitchen und seating area, the trailer has everything you need. A big deck and a hottub, which we really enjoyed. Pots, pans, airfryer, toaster, coffee maker and a huge fridge with freezer. Because the next shopping option is in Antigonish ( 30 min) away. I recommend that if you come like us with the pkane, to stop at the grocery store...

"What a great little farmhouse! Absolutely everything that we needed was available, well stocked! Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Private location - had a nice visit from a squirrel and some deer! Loved all the wood furniture details. The wood stove was so cozy, was all setup for us when we arrived. Thank you so much Susan and John! We really enjoyed our impromtu getaway! "

"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"The house is clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated with lots of space. All amenities were available. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable, with a view of the ocean. Large windows and patio for great ocean views. Quiet location that offered scenic drives and was central to other day trips in the area. "

"Perfect place for two couples to relax and enjoy the beautiful harbour! John and Kathryn have thought of everything that you need for a comfortable stay. We loved watching the eagles and other birds from the deck or from the cozy window seat overlooking the water! We would definitely love to visit again!"

"Very comfortable. Jon and Marcie are great - very responsive. There is plenty of in-house entertainment for bad weather days and our dogs give it a 5-star review as well."
