We were two sisters on holiday with our mother from Canada, who traces her ancestry back to multiple location in Ireland, so Una’s rental was a perfect choice as it wa more central, yet still close to Dublin, giving us the best of both worlds. "Una and Pat are great hosts. The lodging was absolutely wonderful. The village was quiet and peaceful and Tom enjoyed talking with the locals. Dinner at Weirs Pub and Restaurant was delightful. If we ever come back to Ireland, we would definitely make this a stop on our itinerary and stay longer next time! "

"Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay."

"Nice place with a lovely view but takes too long to get to a main road 20minuets on small bumpy country roads in a larger than normal car was not a great experience there where lots to see and do close by Carrick on Shannon was not far away neither was Lough Key which has lots to do for the whole family but mostly only during the holiday season."

"We love the spa area, totally worth a visit Food was lovely Room cleanliness is just average but aside from a bit of dust and the patio area is a bit unkept but still the place is worth a visit and we would definitely be back. We stayed in a room close to reception which seemed good but the music from the cellar bar area was far too noisy so we would advise requesting a room a bit further away, especially fri and sat nights!"

"Fabulous nights stay in this fantastic hotel. It was first class from start to finish, food fabulous bursting with flavour we had our lunch and dinner there too excellent service too. Staff were first class very friendly and helpful we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this hotel "
