"What an experience! If you are looking for a change from busy all inclusive resorts this is a great option. The unit is gorgeous. Spacious with a back yard with a pool overlooking the ocean. It is in a gated community which adds to the exclusiveness of the experience. The beach which is in walking distance is gorgeous with warm water and good size waves. The property management led by Meaghan took care of all of our request. All around great experience for us. Pura Lavida!"

"The Host Ben is very responsive and kind. I wanted to experience living among the Ticos and we loved it. This place is unique and cozy for the 4 of us girls. There are some minor upgrades needed but we are so easygoing that it was not a bother. We survived a huge thunderstorm and no power for just a couple hours. The property has 2 cats. Also each bedroom has air conditioning and we enjoyed Netflix in the evening. This area is definitely a surf town and several restaurants walking distance....

"This place was great. Though Avellanas Beach was a short walk from the property, it felt secluded and remote. I could hear howler monkeys in the trees, which was cool. The house was gated and felt safe and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. I would gladly visit again."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Blue House. It is small, but had every thing we needed and It sits on a beautiful and quiet beach. Surrounding area is very friendly. "10 of us stayed at this beautiful property for a 40th birthday celebration, it was perfect! The house and view are even more gorgeous in person, it's called Sunset Villa for a reason!!! "Our stay was wonderful! The house was perfect for our family of 5. The location to the beach to explore and swim was perfect. The kids loved being able to walk a few steps and be on the beach! "If you are looking for a trip to stay at the beach to surf or swim, this is a good place. It is nice, safe, secure, has most all of the basic necessities and my hosts were kind and helpful when I had questions or needed anything. It was close to a busy street and restaurants so there was a lot of noise at times. It was right on the main road yet near the end of it so you can walk to get to all the shops and restuarants."
