"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Getaway as we ventured north during the holiday season. Cabin had everything we required including a big stack of firewood for the great fireplace setup. Our first time to this section of NM and we are already talking about returning in the summer months. "I don’t think there is enough space to list all of the great qualities of this property!! First of all the cabin is amazing! It was just the right size for the two of us and had everything we could possibly need. It is beautifully built with the perfect mix of modern meets nature. I don’t think you could get closer to the Conejos River without being IN it!! The sounds, the smells and the scenery exceeded expectations! We even heard, and then saw, a bull elk rounding up his cows one morning....
