The saltwater pool is an added amenity and is ideal for a relaxing dip. The roads on the East Cape are rough, so be prepared for a washboard experience and any large supermarket is about one hour plus away, so stock up on all of your food and drinks in San Jose del Cabo before heading out. "I would have appreciated a hair dryer. The bathroom's used toilet paper bin needs to be changed every 2 days please. Ours was changed after 45 - not sanitary. Please put up a sign once you are inside the property to tell us where Casa Del Mar is - its very confusing. Thanks."

We were two families (with two 13yos and two 10yos) and had a wonderful time swimming in the ocean and in the pool, walking on the beach, playing volleyball and horseshoe, and watching the whales and birds. "The house is perfect for a relaxing week on the beach. Plenty of sun and sand. It was beautiful to watch the whales from the privacy of your livingroom and the sun rises from the patio was picture perfect. My kids enjoyed looking for creatures in the rocks during low tide and feeding the donkeys on the dirt road. The only thing that I would change is book a longer stay."

"Amazing little private place. Love the outdoor kitchen and shower. Short walk to little town with about 4 restaurants so not much choices. Bring your food and drinks if you want anything else as there is t much here. We never locked our doors. Super safe to walk around. Beaches to explore are absolutely amazing. "We rang in the new year at the Casa de las Sonrisas. I also turned 50 here. It was the best house and setting that we could have asked for!! It was perfect for our group of 9. The location was great – very secluded away from tourists and commotion. We had the best time. The hot tub and pool were amazing and well used by the group. The rooms were spacious and had very comfortable beds. Relaxing was so easy here. We were able to see whales from the balconies!!Being right on the beach was so fun....
